Group Work Is Involved In The Study Of Parental Stress In Children With Autism

In our country,the number of autism patients increases year by year.According to statistics,the number of autistic people in China today is more than 10 million,and the number of autistic children aged 0-14 has reached more than 2 million.Behind the huge numbers is the idea that parents of autistic children are struggling with the problems posed by the disease.My review of the literature and the parental stress survey of parents of autistic children in the Z institution in Dalian found that the parental pressure of parents of autistic children was significantly higher than that of parents of children with other diseases in the family.According to measurements,Parents of autistic children in Z institutions in Dalian are at a very high level of parental pressure,so I am involved in the issue of parental pressure of autistic children in Z institutions in Dalian City with the consent of the agency.This paper begins with literature research to understand the research status of parental pressure in autistic children at home and abroad,and then further analyzes the parental pressure situation through the measurement of 28 parents in the Z institution in Dalian.The needs of parents of autistic children were then analyzed at the parental level,the child’s level and the social level.Finally,the sources of parental parental pressure are mainly education problems of autistic children,future pension problems of autistic children,family relations problems,economic problems and social discrimination issues.Based on the above analysis,the group work method was selected,the specific service scheme for the intervention of the group work was designed,seven group activities were implemented,and the group work was evaluated.The intervention of group work has certain effect and,to a certain extent,helps parents of autistic children to relieve parental pressure.
