Background And ObjectiveBreast cancer is one of the most common malignancies in women today.According to the immunohistochemistry, breast cancer can be divided into four subtypes: luminal type A,luminal type B,Her-2 overexpressed and basal-like breast cancer.According to statistics, triple negative breast cancer accounts for 15%-20% of all breast cancers, and compared with other breast cancer subtypes, chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy are still the main treatment methods due to the lack of targeted treatment, with poor prognosis.Breast cancer susceptibility gene 1(BRCA1)is a class of tumor suppressor genes related to hereditary breast cancer. In the BRCA1 mutation population, the incidence of breast cancer is up to 60%-80%.Moreover,80-90% of BRCA1-associated breast cancers are triple negative breast cancer.Epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)belongs to the tyrosine kinase receptor family and is an important protein that transmits extracellular signals into cells. Its expression rate in triple negative breast cancer is 60%.This study mainly observed the expression of BRCA1 and EGFR in triple negative breast cancer,so as to explore the relationship and correlation between BRCA1 and EGFR and the clinicopathological indicators of triple negative breast cancer, providing a direction for the molecular targeted treatment of triple negative breast cancer.MethodsThe clinicopathological feature of 51 triple-negative breast cancer patients who visited the first affiliated hospital of zhengzhou university from January 2015 to January 2018 were selected.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression levels of BRCA1 and EGFR in breast cancer, and SPSS statistical software was used for statistical analysis in combination with relevant clinicopathological feature of patients.Results1.Among the 51 cases of triple-negative breast cancer,26 cases(51.0%)with BRCA1 positive test and 36 cases(70.6%)with EGFR positive expression were detected.2.The BRCA1 positive group had younger onset age, higher lymph node metastasis rate and later clinical stages, with statistically significant differences(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the maximum diameter and histological grade of the tumor(P > 0.05).In breast cancer tissue with mass maximum diameter > 2 cm,lymph node metastasis, clinical stage ?-? period,EGFR positive expression rate is higher, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);There was no significant difference with age and histological grading(P > 0.05).3.BRCA1 is significantly associated with EGFR expression in triple-negative breast cancer(P < 0.05).Conclusion1.The expression of BRCA1 and EGFR in triple-negative breast cancer is correlated with lymph node metastasis and late clinical staging, suggesting that the expression of BRCA1 and EGFR in triple-negative breast cancer has a poor prognosis.Detection of BRCA1 and EGFR in triple-negative breast cancer patients has important clinical significance in guiding treatment and evaluating prognosis.2.There is a correlation between BRCA1 and EGFR expression in triplenegative breast cancer.
