| Objective: Under the guidance of the theory of brain-gut axis and brain-gut communication, the overall curative effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on patients with colonic slow transit constipation was observed,in order to provide ideas for STC’s "the same treatment for brain-gut".Method:Seventy patients with STC diagnosis were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,35 cases;treatment group lost 3cases,control group lost 3 cases, effective cases 64 cases, treatment group and control group 32 example.Treatment group for acupuncture treatment, control group of Prucalopride Succinate Tablets orally,7d is a course of treatment,a total of 6courses of treatment. The first defecation time was observed after treatment in the two groups. The 2,4,and 6 course constipation symptom scores recorded in the《Defecation Record》and the sleep quality, anxiety, and depression scores before and after treatment were evaluated.Results:(1)After treatment, the first time of defecation time between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group.“The duration of each defecation”,after 2 courses of treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).The other symptoms and total score were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05)in comparison with defecation or discomfort, constipation, secondary disease and total score.(2)After 4 courses of continuous treatmen, the symptoms and total scores of constipation in the two groups were statistically significant compared with the course of treatment(P<0.05),and the course of treatment was better than 2 courses after 4 courses of treatment;fecal shape, defecation or discomfort, defecationintention, secondary symptoms and total score between the treatment group and the control group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).(3)After 6 courses of continuous treatment, there was no statistical significance between the two groups in terms of symptoms and total score and the 4courses of treatment(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences in stool shape, defecation effort or discomfort, defecation intention,Secondary symptoms and Total symptom score between groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group.(4)After treatment, the sleep index of the two groups were compared, and the sleep time and sleep efficiency scores were not statistically significant before and after treatment(P>0.05).The other 5 factors and the total score of sleep index were statistically significant before and after treatment(P<0.05),the treatment group was superior to the control group before treatment.(5)After treatment, the scores of patients with anxiety and depression in the two groups were statistically significant compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores after treatment were better than those before treatment.(6)After 6 courses of treatment, the total effective rate of the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the recurrence rate of the two groups in the1-month follow-up was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the recurrence rate of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group. Conclusion: Acupuncture and moxibustion or oral Prucalopride Succinate Tablets can improve symptoms, sleep quality, anxiety and depression of patients with STC.Acupuncture treatment is better than oral Western medicine in improving the time of first stool, constipation, overall sleep, anxiety and depression in STC patients; There was no significant difference between the two treatments in improving the duration of defecation in STC patients;the two treatments failed to effectively improve the sleep time factor and sleep efficiency factor in the Pittsburgh sleep index.Under the guidance of brain-gut axis related theory, acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of STC has a good effect, which can be clinically promoted and studied in depth. |
