Objective:To investigate the correlation and diagnostic value of homocysteine(Hcy)levels with retinopathy(DR)in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods : A total of 200 T2 DM patients were chosen from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University during January 2014 and May 2018.100 patients were selected as observation group(DR group),and 100 patients without DR as control group(NDR group).Sex,age, height, weight,BMI,history of smoking and drinking, history of DM,HbAlc,GLU,2hPG,Hcy,TCH,TG,LDL,Cr,BUN,UA were detected in two groups. The Hcy levels of two groups were compared, and the correlation between Hcy and DR in T2 DM patients was analyzed by Logistic multiple regression analysis. The diagnostic value of Hcy for DR patients were analysised by ROC curve analysis.Result:The levels of Hcy in the two groups were 13.62+5.23μmol/L and11.69+4.59 μmol/L respectively(P<0.05).Logistic multiple regression analysis showed that history of DM,Hcy,Cr,BUN were the influencing factors of DR(P< 0.05).The area under the ROC curve in the diagnosis of DR for serum Hcy was 0.6;the specifcity was 40%and the sensitivity was 80%.The diagnosticthreshold of Hcy was 14.5 μmol/L with a maximum value of Youde index. Conclusions:Hcy is an independent risk factor for DR,which is related to the occurrence of DR.It has certain value in the diagnosis of DR.The diagnostic threshold value is 14.5μmol/L.
