The Observation Of Clinical Treatment Effect On Distal Radius Fracture Of Aged Patients With No.1 Wai Shang Ointment And Splint Fixation

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of manipulative closed reduction,external fixation with No.1 Waishang ointment and splint fixation in the treatment of aged distal radius fractures.Methods Patients with distal radius fractures admitted to the orthopedics and traumatology department of Yunnan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2017 to January 2019,aged 60-80 years old,were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group.The patients in the treatment group were treated with No.1Waishang ointment combined with splint external fixation for 4 to 6 weeks,while those in the control group were treated with splint external fixation for 4 to 6 weeks.Visual Analogue Score and wrist circumference measurement were performed on the day,3 days and 1week after reduction and fixation,wrist range of motion measurement and Gartland-Werley wrist score were performed 8 weeks after treatment,and comparison and statistical analysis were performed.Result1.VAS comparison: the two treatment methods could alleviate wrist pain of patients(P<0.05).In terms of the degree of improvement,the efficacy of the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).2.Wrist circumference comparison: both treatment methods were beneficial to the regression of wrist soft tissue swelling(P<0.05).In terms of the degree of improvement,the efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).3.Comparison of wrist range of motion: the comparison of wrist range of motion between the two groups after 8 weeks of treatment showed that P<0.05,indicating that the difference of wrist range of motion between the two groups after 8 weeks of treatment was statistically significant,and that the treatment group was superior to the control group.4.G-W wrist score comparison: both treatment methods can improve the G-W wrist score of patients,and the overall effect is similar,the comparison between groups,P>0.05;The difference of G-W score between the treatment group and the control group was not statistically significant.5.Comparison of total efficacy between the two groups: the effective rate was 93.94% in the treatment group and 87.50% in the control group.The total curative effect of the two groups was tested by Kruskal-Wallis,p<0.05,indicating that the difference of curative effect between the treatment group and the control group was statistically significant,and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion Manipulative closed reduction and external fixation with No.1 Waishang ointment combined with splint for the treatment of distal radius fractures in the elderly are significantly better than external fixation with splint alone in the improvement of wrist pain and soft tissue swelling.After 8 weeks of treatment,the wrist range of motion and overall efficacy of the two groups were compared,and the treatment group was superior to the control group,and the difference in G-W score between the two groups were not statistically significant.
