Objective: In this study,we measured DKK3 levels in plasma of patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy(ICM),dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM),and healthy controls.And analysis the Correlation with clinical examination results(such as BNP,TG,CRP,HCY,etc.)and echocardiography.The aim of this study is to investigate the expression level of DKK3 in plasma of patients with ICM and its clinical significance,in order to provide a clinical basis for the clinical application of DKK3.Methods: We measured plasma DKK3 levels in 30 patients with ICM,30 patients with DCM,and 30 healthy controls by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Detailed records of clinical and laboratory indicators such as gender,age,smoking history,body mass index(BMI),C-reactive protein(CRP),total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)in ICM group,DCM group,and healthy control group;fasting blood glucose(FBG),B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP),homocysteine(HCY)and the like.At the same time,echocardiographic results of patients with ICM and DCM were collected.The correlation between plasma DKK3 levels and TC?TG?LDL-C?FBG?BNP?HCY?CRP and ventricular remodeling was analyzed in the ICM group.At the same time,the correlation between plasma DKK3 level and ventricular remodeling in DCM group was analyzed.Results: 1.The plasma DKK3 level in ICM group(7.20±1.63 ng/ml)was significantly lower than that in the healthy control group(10.60±3.72 ng/ml),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);The level of plasma DKK3 in the DCM group(8.80±3.10 ng/ml)was lower than that in the healthy control group(10.60±3.72 ng/ml),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The plasma DKK3 level in ICM group(7.20±1.63 ng/ml)was lower than that in DCM group(8.80±3.10 ng/ml),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Plasma DKK3 levels in ICM group were negatively correlated with TC(r=-0.407,P<0.05),LDL-C(r=-0.377,P<0.05),CRP(r=-0.362,P<0.05),and age,there was no correlation between BMI,TG,FBG,HCY and BNP.3.Plasma DKK3 level in ICM group was positively correlated with Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction(LVEF)(r=0.406,P<0.05)and negative with Left Ventricular End Diastolic Diameter(LVEDD).Correlation(r=-0.577,P<0.05)was significantly negatively correlated with left ventricular mass index(LVMI)(r=-0.583,P<0.01),and right ventricle(RV).There was no correlation between the left atrial diameter(Left Atrium,LA).4.There was a negative correlation between plasma DKK3 level and LVEDD in the DCM group(r=-0.364,P<0.05),and negative correlation with LVMI(r=-0.496,P<0.01),and no correlation with LVEF,RV,LA.Conclusion: 1.The level of plasma DKK3 was significantly decreased in the ICM group,and DKK3 levels in the ICM group was linearly correlated with TC,LDL-C and CRP.It is suggested that DKK3 may be involved in the pathogenesis of ICM and play an important role in the pathogenesis.2.Plasma DKK3 levels are closely related to ventricular remodeling,and this correlation may provide a new direction for the prevention,diagnosis and treatment of ICM ventricular remodeling.DKK3 may become a new target for the treatment of ICM patients.
