Literature Research On Theses Of Acupoint Selection Method On Treating Adult Chronic Eczema From The Last 20 Years

ObjectiveCollect data from theses regarding using acupuncture to treat adult chronic eczema for the last 20 years.Then,annualize the acupoint selection methods and acupuncture treatments in order to find a better acupuncture treatment for adult chronic eczema.MethodsCollect theses from China Academic Journals’ Full text Database(CNKI),Wangfang Database(CDDB),Chinese Scientific Journal Database(VIP)and Chinese Bio Medical Literature Database(CBM)regarding using acupuncture to treat adult chronic eczema.Extract theses under certain criteria.The n,read these theses and look for the their acupoints selections,meridia ns distribution and acupuncture treatment methods.Enter the date found into a data base set by Microsoft offices’ Excel in order to annualize the pattern.Results93 theses is extracted,include 6088 cases of adult chronic eczema.10 of these theses is focused on certain types of chronic eczema,while 6 others focused on certain types of chronic eczema in the view of TCM.This study has logged 75 acupoints,altogether which had been used for 520 times.Over 40 acupoints had been used more than 3 times.The acupoints was used at the frequency as follow:Ashipoint 48 times,Quchi(LI 11)47 times、Xuehai(SP10)46 times、Tsusanli(ST 36)40 times、Sanyinchiao(SP 6)34 times、Hego(LI4)30 times.The meridians distribution is as follow:Spleen Channel of Foot-Taiyin 109 times,Bladder Meridian of Foot-Taiyin 90 times,Large Intestine Channel of Hand-Yangming 89 times,Stomach Channel of Foot-Yangming 59 times,Governor meridian 31 timesConclusionFrom the results,Ashipoint is the most promising acupoint to treat adult chronic eczema.Using fire needle on it is preferred.While practicing acupuncture treatment on adult chronic eczema,these acupoints are more likely to have a better result:Quchi(LI 11)、Xuehai(SP10)、Tsusanli(ST 36)、Sanyinchiao(SP 6)、Hego(LI4).Acupoints from these Meridian can also assist:Spleen Channel of Foot-Taiyin,Bladder Meridian of Foot-Taiyin,Large Intestine Channel of Hand-Yangming,Stomach Channel of Foot-Yangming,Governor meridian.
