Objective:To observe the changes of cellular immunity and circulating tumor cells(CTC)in colorectal cancer patients treated with chemotherapy and thymalfaxin, and to explore that thymalfaxin can improve the immune function of patients treated with chemotherapy,so as to provide theoretical basis and clinical basis for the treatment of colorectal cancer with thymalfaxin combined with chemotherapy. Methods:From June 2015 to June 2017,60 patients with colorectal cancer were treated with chemotherapy in our hospital. All patients were divided into two groups. The treatment group(XELOX regimen combined with twice weekly thymalfaxin injection of,1.6 mg each time)and the control group(XELOX regimen alone)had 30 cases each.Peripheral blood samples were collected before and after 2 cycles of chemotherapy.Flow cytometry was used to detect the changes of CD4+,CD8+,and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+,and nanomagnetic beads were used to detect the changes of CTCResults:(1)After 2 cycles of chemotherapy, the ratio of CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the ratio of CD8+%was significantly lower than that in the control group.(P<0.05).(2)There was no significant difference in physical condition(ZPS score)between the two groups before chemotherapy, but there was significant difference in ZPS score between the two groups after 2 cycles of treatment(2=15.045,P=0.001).(3)There was significant correlation between CTC and T,N and M stages of tumors in both groups(P<0.05),but no significant correlation with age and sex of patients(P>0.05).(4)there was no significant difference in CTC between the control group and the treatment group(P>0.05).Conclusion(1)CTC is correlated with invasion depth, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis of colorectal cancer.(2)There was no significant difference in CTC between chemotherapy and thymalfaxin in comparison with chemotherapy alone.(3)Subcutaneous injection thymalfaxin twice a week can increase the CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ratio and decrease CD8+.To some extent,it can increase the immune function of patients with colorectal cancer undergoing chemotherapy.
