Clinical Observation On The Milli-fire-needle In Treating Periarthritis Of Shoulder Of Wind-cold-dampness Arthralgia Type

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy on Periarthritis of shoulder of wind-cold-dampness arthralgia type treated by the milli-fire-needle and conventional needing.To contrast these two therapies,to explore the effect of the milli-fire-needle on Periarthritis of shoulder of wind-cold-dampness arthralgia type and a security and quick and effective method for the treatment of Periarthritis of shoulder.Methods66 patients were randomized into observation group and control group,33 cases in each one.Observation group patients were treated by using milli-fire-needle on the Ash point whieh selected by mode of exercise,the other group patients were treated with conventional needing.Before and after the end of the two course of treatment,Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Daily life ability rating scale(ADL)and Range of motion of shoulder joint(ROM)were used to evaluate;the clinical efficacy of both were assessed after the end of the two course of treatment.ResultsThe gender,age,course of’ disease,affected side,VAS scores,ADL scores and ROM of shoulder joint scores before treatment of the two groups were compared.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),so the two groups were comparable.A total of 66 patients were enrolled during the study period.In the treatment group,32 cases were actually included and 1 case fell off.The effective rate of the treatment group was 90.63%;31 cases were actually included in the control group,and 2 case was excluded,the control group was 83.87%,obviously,curative effect of treatment group Superior to control(p<0.05);the scores of VAS,ADL and ROM of shoulder joint were better after treatment than those before the treatment(p<0.05),The score of ADL and ROM of shoulder joint in the observation group were better than the control group(p<0.05),but there was no statistically significant difference in the VAS score in the observation group compared with the control group(p>0.05).ConclusionUsing milli-fire-needle and conventional needing on in treating Periarthritis of shoulder of wind-cold-dampness arthralgia type are effective.Both treatments can relieve pain and improvement of daily living ability and shoulder joint function in patients.The therapy of milli-fire-needle is better than the conventional needing,it can improve the quality of life and should be promoted in the clinical.
