Significance Of C1GALT1 And Integrinβ1 Expression In Gastric Carcinomas Non-cancerous Gastric Mucosa

0bjective: For this study,we were selected surgically resected gastric cancer and non-cancerous gastric mucosal tissue specimens to evaluate the expression of C1GALT1 and integrin β1 in it by immunohistochemical detection.Using statistical methods to analyze its relationship with clinicopathological factors of gastric cancer and the correlation between them.explore the role of C1GALT1 and integrin β1 expression in the development and progression of gastric cancer.in order to provide a theoretical basis for revealing the pathogenesis of gastric cancer,exploring the early diagnosis of gastric cancer and developing new anti-cancer drugs.Methods:C1GALT1 and integrin β1 antigen were repaired by p H 6.0 citric acid with high temperature and pressure.C1GALT1 and integrin β1 was detectedby the method of immunohistochemical in 124 cases of gastric cancer,30 cases of gastric intraepithelial neoplasia and 41 cases of normal gastric mucosa.Results:1.The expression of C1GALT1 in each group: The high expression rate of C1GALT1 in the normal mucosa group(58.5%)was significantly lower than that in the cancerous groups(84.7%)and the intraepithelial neoplasia ones(86.7%)(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the high expression rate of C1GALT1 between the gastric cancer groups and the intraepithelial neoplasia group(P>0.05).2.The relationship between the expression of C1GALT1 and clinicopathology: The high expression rate of C1GALT1 was related to pathological type(P<0.05),but not related to other factors.3.The expression of integrin β1 in each group: the high expression rate of integrin β1 in the normal mucosa group(19.5%)was significantly lower than that in the cancer ones(63.7%)(P<0.05).the high expression rate of integrin β1 in the intraepithelial neoplasia group(40%)was significantly lower than that in the gastric cancer group(63.7%)(P<0.05).there was no significant difference in the high expression rate of integrin β1 between the normal mucosa group and the intraepithelial neoplasia group.4.The relationship between the expression of integrin β1 and clinicopathology: the high expression rate of integrin β1 was associated with the size of phyma,depth of tumor invasion,and lymphatic metastasis(P<0.05),but not correlated with gender,age,WHO histological type,tumor location,positive Surgical margins and etc.(P>0.05);5.Correlation analysis of integrin β1 and C1GALT1 expression: The results showed that there was no correlation between β1 integrin and C1GALT1(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.The expression of C1GALT1 is significantly increased in gastric cancer tissues.Its suggested that the expression of C1GALT1 is closely related to the occurrence of gastric cancer.;2.The expression of integrin β1 is highly increased in gastric cancer tissues.It is speculated that the enhanced expression of both may indicate the high invasive tendency of the cancer tissue,that is,the malignant features such as large mass,invasive growth,prone to metastasis.3.There is no correlation between the expression of C1GALT1 and integrin β1.
