Objective To explore the application prospect of 3D visualization in the surgical treatment of retroperitoneal liposarcoma.Methods The clinical data of 28 patients with retroperitoneal liposarcoma who were admitted to the general surgery department of the PLA General Hospital from January 2017 to December 2018 were prospectively analyzed.Patients were divided into two groups,3D visualization group(3D group)and normal group.All patients were performed preoperative abdominal computed tomography(CT).CT images of patients in the 3D group were visualized preoperatively by 3D reconstruction technology,and the preoperative evaluation and surgical plan were made simultaneously based on the reconstruction.The statistical data like intraoperative blood loss,operation time,the average length of hospital stay and other relevant indicators were compared and analyzed within the two groups of patients.Result All the 3D visualized reconstruction images of the 14 patients in the 3D group can clearly show the all-around anatomical structure and adjacent relationship of tumor tissue,abdominal organs and abdominal great vessels.All the 14 patients in 3D group underwent retroperitoneal tumor resection after evaluation,and the results of intraoperative exploration were roughly consistent with the anatomical relationship of preoperative 3D reconstruction of tumor.The volume of 14 patients in the 3D group actual resected tumor were(4343.8±1803.95)ml,while the stimulated operations tumor resection volumes were(4119.6±1767.94)ml.There was no significant different between the predicted and the actual values(P>0.05).Compared with the normal group,intraoperative blood loss[(344.29±343.71)ml vs(728.57±598.95)ml,P<0.05),operative time[(132.14±44.58)min vs(216.43±81.04)min,P<0.05)and the average of hospital stay in the 3D visualization group were significantly reduced[(13.5±5.98)d vs(18.07±4.16)d,P<0.05).Conclusion In the surgical treatment of patients with retroperitoneal liposarcoma,the application of 3D visualization technology can be used for precise preoperative evaluation,which has the characteristics of less intraoperative blood loss,shorter operation time and less average postoperative hospitalization time,and it has certain clinical application value.
