Objective: To investigate the evaluation of the safety and efficacy of high doses Atorvastain on patients with coronary heart disease accompanied with diabetes. Methods: Eighty cases of coronary heart disease accompanied with type 2 diabetes mellitus in cardiology department of Handan Fourth Hospital were selected. The cases were from January 2017 to July 2017.We divided the 80 patients into two groups randomly. Each group had 40 patients. Both groups were given routine treatment:including insulin controls blood sugar, calcium channel blockers, vasodilators and anti-platelet aggregation drugs were used according to patients’ specific conditions.Experimental group was given 40 mg atorvastatin each night.(ALe,specification: 20 mg,Manufacturer: the company of Jialin Yaoye in Beijin,Batch number:W-19505).Control group was given 20 mg atorvastatin each night. We set six weeks as a course of treatment. We observed the changes of corresponding indexes at the beginning of treatment and after taking medicine six weeks. We collected the material of patients and we collected the patients blood pressure,(triglyceride, cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol,apolipoprotein-A,apolipoprotein-B,fasting blood glucose, postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, high sensitivity C reactive protein, left ventricular end-diastolic dimension, left ventricular end-systolic dimension, left ventricular ejection fraction,glutamic-pyruvic transaminase,glutamic-oxalace tictrasaminase creatinine, urea),Then we analyzed and organized. Results: There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of sex, age, body mass index, blood pressure, and so on.suggesting comparability between two groups.TC,TG,LDL,ApoB,FBG,PBG,HbA1 c,hs-CRP,LVEDDandLVESD were lower than before treatment. At the same time, the drop in patients in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group. There were some differences between two groups. However, after treatment,HDL,ApoA,LVEF in two groups rose higher than before treatment.especially experimental groups. There were some differences between two groups(P<0.05).There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of ALT,AST,BUN,Cr.There were no significant differences before treatment and after treatment in terms of ALT,AST,BUN,Cr.Two groups of adverse reactions were mild. They didn’t affect the treatment. Conclusions: High doses Atorvastain are highly effective and safe for patients with coronary heart disease accompanied with diabetes.
