Purpose:Observed the clinical efficacy of Xiaoyaosan and Yuejuwan for the Liver Qi Stagnation and spleen deficiency type of depression and explore the mechanism of action of Xiaoyaosan and Yuejuwan.Method :Selection of patients met the diagnostic criteria of 30 cases given Xiaoyaosan and Yuejuwan.Method:Selection of patients met the diagnostic criteria of 30 cases given Xiaoyaosan and Yuejuwan treated,morning and evening,warm clothes,were treated for two weeks time to Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptom scores and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)as the symptoms and clinical evaluation criteria,at 2 weeks time to observe each patient changes of scale score symptom.Results:After 2 weeks of treatment with medicion,patient total score of above-mentioned scores decreased compared with that before treatment,The comparisons were significant(p< 0.01).In the 30 patients,there were 1 cases was very effective,20 cases were effective,and the ineffective result were showed in 3 cases,the total effective rat was 70%,depression、hypochondrium distention、sigh、sentimentality、anorexia、epigastric fullness and belching、lassitude and loose stool conditions were obviously improved,The comparisons were significant(p < 0.01).According to the clinical evaluation of curative effect,there were 5 cases was very effective,11 cases were effective,and the ineffective result were showed in 14 cases,the total effective rat was 76.67%,anxiety 、 slow-moving 、 sleep disorders were obviously improved,The comparisons were significant(p< 0.01).Conclusion:The clinical curative effect of the treatment of Xiaoyaosan and Yuejuwan is valid.Patients can relieve depression and improve clinical symptoms by taking Xiaoyaosan and Yuejuwan.
