Major Depressive Disorder is one of the most common mental disorders.It has the characteristics of high incidence,high recurrence rate and high disability rate.Mostpatients suffering from MDD have different degrees of sleep disorders.Antidepressants can improve depression and often affect their sleep.However,the mechanism of antidepressants’ influence on sleep rhythm is still unclear,and there are few related studies.We searched many literatures from PubMed,EMBASE,Web of Science,CNCK,Google Academy,Baidu Academy and other professional databases,screens out many articles that meet the theme,summarizes the changes of sleep structure of depressive patients,and summarizes the effects of antidepressants on sleep rhythm of depressive patients.By reviewing previous studies,We elaborated on not only the antidepressant effects of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors,selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors,norepinephrine and specific 5-hydroxytryptamine antidepressants,melatonin MT1/MT2 receptor agonists and 5-HT2c receptor antagonists,but also the influence of sleep rhythm in patients with symptoms.
