Acute pancreatitis is a common clinical emergency of digestive system, which has attracted extensive social attention due to its rapid onset, rapid progress, multiple complications and high fatality rate.Malnutrition risk runs through the whole process of disease progression.Effective and timely nutrition support can promote the recovery of body functions, enhance the body immunity and improve clinical outcomes. The traditional concept advocates complete parenteral nutrition, but there is more and more evidence supporting enteral nutrition.Early enteral nutrition can maintain intestinal permeability, avoid translocation of intestinal flora, reduce the occurrence of enterogenous infection, and thus reduce the risk of death of patients. However, enteral nutrition also has some complications, such as feeding intolerance. If clinicians and nursing staff actively give effective nursing, the incidence of complications can be significantly reduced, and the enteral nutrition value can be improved, the length of hospital stay can be shortened, and the clinical prognosis can be improved. At present, there is no consensus on the best time and feeding route for early enteral nutrition in the guidelines of various countries, and theefficacy of immune enteral nutrition proposed in recent years is also controversial. Therefore, this article will be the necessity of acute pancreatitis enteral nutrition, nutrition timing, mode, nutrition, indications, complications and nursing and other aspects of the latest progress.
