| Objective: To explore the correlation between psoriasis and metabolic syndrome and related risk factors,so that clinicians can timely assess the possibility of patients with metabolic syndrome while paying attention to the treatment of psoriasis, and provide reliable evidence for early intervention and later stage management.Research objects and methods: log in Affiliated Union Hospital of Tongji Medical College,Huazhong University of Science and Technology OA network read the patients’ medical records, will be in November,2016 to October,2018 of 243 cases of hospitalized patients with psoriasis admitted in our hospital dermatological department as the research object, according to whether the patients with the metabolic syndrome, which divided into groups of psoriasis with metabolic syndrome and psoriasis with metabolic syndrome group, respectively, collect, sort out the above two groups of patients with clinical medical records, design Excel worksheets, and establish the database for the statistical analysis by SPSS 23.0,P<0.05,with statistical significance. Results: 1.Among the 243 patients with psoriasis,63 patients(25.9%)had metabolic syndrome, including 40 males and 23 females. There were 180 cases(74.1%)without metabolic syndrome,101 cases(males)and 79 cases(females).2.Univariate analysis showed that age, smoking, alcohol consumption, surgical history,Antihemolytic Streptococcus O,C Reaction Protein,Triglyceride,High Density Lipoprotein,Low Density Lipoprotein, and uric acid had statistical differences between the two groups(P<0.05).Patients with metabolic syndrome in psoriasis showed no statistical difference in gender, course of disease, family history,Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate, serum complement C3/C4,Total Cholesterol,Red cell distribution width,etc.4.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age, course of disease, smoking, alcohol consumption, surgical history were significantly correlated with whether psoriasis was associated with metabolic syndrome. Conclusion: 1.About a quarter of patients with psoriasis with metabolic syndrome, the prevalence of male and female no statistical difference.2.Elevated levels of ASO,CRP,TG,LDL,uric acid and decreased HDL levels may be risk factors for metabolic syndrome in psoriasis.3.Age above 40 years old, pathogenesis above 10 years, previous smoking and surgical history may be independent risk factors for metabolic syndrome associated with psoriasis.4.Psoriasis is closely related to metabolic syndrome, and the two may affect each other.5.For older, longer course of disease,a history of smoking and drinking and surgical history of psoriasis patients should pay attention to screening for metabolic syndrome. |
