Objective:Discover the status quo of chronic diseases among residents in Yu Hua District,Changsha City,Hunan Province and analyze the relevant social influencing factors to provide a basis for comprehensive prevention and treatment of chronic diseases in the community.Methods:We used a sampling method combining multi-stage cluster random sampling,PPS sampling and simple random sampling and selected 4280permanent residents aged 15 and over in Yu Hua District of Changsha City to conduct a questionnaire survey and collect general information,chronic medical history and chronic diseases related social factors.Status including height,weight,waist circumference,hip circumference and other indicators were measured.Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0statistical software.The?~2 test and t test were used to analyze whether the prevalence of chronic diseases among different influencing factors were different.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of the prevalence of chronic diseases.Results:1.The general sociodemographic results of the district showed 2490(58.33%)females and 1779 males(41.67%);2146(50.25%)residents aged 35-59,accounting for half of the total survey;3279 urban residents(76.81%);3545 married people(83.04%);2704(63.34%)residents with high school education or above.2.The number of patients reporting chronic diseases in the district was 805,and the prevalence of chronic diseases was 18.86%.The number of patients reporting hypertension was 527 and the prevalence rate was12.35%,accounting for 45.08%of the total chronic diseases;the number of diabetic patients was 207 and the prevalence rate was 4.85%,accounting for 17.71%of the total chronic diseases;the number of patients with coronary heart disease was 150,and the prevalence rate was3.51%,accounting for 12.83%of the total chronic diseases.3.Compared with residents without chronic diseases,the age(42.73±14.60 VS 59.12±12.83),body mass index(22.62±2.90 VS 24.14±3.31)and waist circumference(81.10±8.63 VS 84.96±8.77)of residents with chronic diseases were higher,the difference was statistically significant;morbidity rate of chronic diseases among residents with different types of work,education,place of residence and marital status is different;different levels of fruit intake,meat intake,sugar intake,sleep quality,smoking and physical exercise also makes the prevalence of chronic diseases different among residents,and the difference is statistically significant.4.Logistics regression analysis showed that age,body mass index,waist circumference,smoking,lacking of exercise,poor sleep quality were risk factors of chronic diseases,and daily fruit intake of 250g-350g was the protection factor of chronic diseases.5.A total of 332 people were sick in the first two weeks of the survey.The prevalence rate was 7.78%in two weeks.Among them,266were treated,and the two-week consultation rate was 80.12%.6.The residents’awareness of blood pressure,blood sugar,waist circumference and body weight were 36.07%,23.17%,33.66%,and66.46%,respectively.Conclusion:1.The prevalence of chronic diseases reported by residents aged 15and over in Yu Hua District of Changsha City was 18.857%;the top three chronic diseases were hypertension,diabetes and coronary heart disease.2.There are many factors influencing the prevalence of chronic diseases,and differences in social demographic characteristics and dietary habits can lead to differences in the prevalence of chronic diseases.Age,body mass index,waist circumference increase,smoking,and lacking exercise can increase the prevalence of chronic diseases;daily intake of250g-350g fruit can reduce the prevalence of chronic diseases.3.The awareness rate of residents’basic indicators in Yu Hua District of Changsha City is low,and the awareness rates of blood pressure,blood sugar and waist circumference are below 50%.
