Objective:To study the relationship between the degree of tracheal stenosis and the choice of surgical management, then summarize the surgical indications of tracheal stenosis. Methods: A retrospective review was performed in 129 children having Congenial Heart Disease associated with Congenial Tracheal Stenosis from February 2009 to July 2015.Related factors including age, preoperative diagnosis, surgical method, tracheal morphology, degree of stenosis, length of stenosis segment and respiratory symptoms were in study.SPSS19.0 was used to do t-test,χ2 test and Logistic regression for data analysis. Results: 1.The diameter of tracheal in Congenial Heart Disease group without tracheal stenosis had a positive correlation with age.2.In the case group the non-operated group had no Statistical difference with operated group in age, diameter of tracheal in normal place,BMI.3.In the case group the non-operated group had Statistical difference with operated group in Respiratory symptoms, length of stenosis segment, diameter of tracheal stenosis, degree of stenosis, tracheal morphology and presence of complete tracheal rings.4.Most patients were given an end-to-end anastomosis at the length no more than 1.5cm,while a slide anastomosis was preferred at the length over 2cm.Conclusion: Patients having the degree of tracheal stenosis over 55%,length of stenosis segment over 1cm,existence of airway obstruction symptoms or bronchial abnormalities are likely to accept trachealplasty.Besides, the existence of complete tracheal rings is one of the important surgical indications.
