Clinical Observation Of External Application Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined With Short Stretch Bandage In The Treatment Of Lymphedema After Breast Cancer Operation

Objective:To observe 30 cases of breast cancer postoperative lymphedema,and to study on the clinical efficacy of external application of traditional Chinese medicine combined with short stretch bandage in the treatment of postoperative lymphedema of breast cancer.Methods:Thirty patients with postoperative lymph node edema who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,15 patients in the treatment group and 15 patients in the control group.There were no significant differences in age,surgical procedure,dominant limbs,tumor stage,radiotherapy,chemotherapy,and duration of edema between the two groups.Conventional treatment: Skin care,lymphatic massage,psychological care,Traditional Chinese medicine external application,air wave stress treatment.Control group: using traditional elastic bandages on the basis of conventional treatment.Treatment group:Short stretch bandages were used on the basis of conventional treatment.The changes of limb circumference were observed and the effective index was calculated,ultrasound grading and infrared thermography were recorded for statistical analysis.Results:1.After 4 weeks of treatment,the effective index of the treatment group was better than that of the control group in reducing the circumference of affected limbs.The markedly effective rate of the treatment group was26.6%,the total effective rate(The sum of markedly effective rate and effective rate)was 93.3%,and the markedly effective rate of the control group was 6.7%,and the total effective rate was 66.7%.The curative effect distribution of the two groups was statistically analyzed(P<0.05),with statistical difference.2.After 4 weeks of treatment,in the ultrasound classification andinfrared thermography,the group comparison P<0.05,with statistical differences.The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving ultrasound imaging and reducing edema skin temperature.Conclusion:For patients with upper extremity lymphedema after breast cancer surgery,the long-term effect of external application of traditional Chinese medicine combined with short-stretch bandage is better than traditional Chinese medicine external application combined with traditional elastic bandage.
