Comparison Of Clinical Characteristics Of Severe Hand, Foot And Mouth Disease Caused By Different Pathogenic Infections | Posted on:2020-04-01 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Y Tang | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2404330590979705 | Subject:Clinical medicine | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective: To compare and analyze the characteristics of severe hand-foot-mouth diseases(HFMD)caused by Coxsackievirus A6(CV-A6),Coxsackievirus A10(CV-A10)and Enterovirus 71(EV-71),in order to provide help for early identification,prevention and control of HFMD.Methods : Clinical data of 234 cases of severe hand-foot-mouth diseases hospitalized in Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from May 2018 to December 2018 were collected.Results: There were 191 cases in CV-A6 group,21 cases in CV-A10 group and 22 cases in EV-71 group.There was no significant difference in sex composition among the three groups.The cases in EV-71 group were older than those in CV-A6 group and CV-A10 group,(30.5±17.3)months VS(22.0±15.5)months VS(21.6±11.1)months.Longer duration of fever,hospitalization time and higher rate of the treatment with gamma globulin were noted in the cases associated with EV71(P<0.05).The rashes in CA6 group were widely distributed,and more likely to be papulo-vesicle(P <0.05).The incidence of myoclonic jerk,sitting/ standing / walking unstable,heart rate increasing and blood pressure rising caused by EV-71 were higher than by CV-A6 group and CV-A10 group(all P<0.05).The laboratory indicators showed that mean PCT and the rate of elevated CRP in EV-71 group was significantly lower than those in CV-A6 group and CV-A10 group(all P <0.05).The incidence of onychomadesis in CV-A6 group was higher than in CV-A10 group and EV-71 group(all P <0.05). | Keywords/Search Tags: | Severe hand-foot-mouth diseases, Coxsackievirus A6, Coxsackievirus A10, Enterovirus 71, Clinic characteristics | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
