| ObjectiveTo observe and evaluate the efficacy of gastric variceal ligation(GVL)and gastric variceal obliteration(GVO)in the treatment of type 1 gastroesophageal varices(GOV1).MethodsWe collected the clinical data of patients with GOV1 who received gastric variceal obliteration(GVO)and gastric variceal ligation(GVL),and compared the hemostasis rate, eradication rate and rebleeding rate. The complications of the two treatments were also observed.ResultGVO was effective in control hemorrhage, and GVL-treated group had the similar hemostasis rate(GVO 98.04%,GVL 100.00%,P>0.05).During the follow-up,23.53% of patients in the GVO-treated group rebleeded, and 16.39% in the GVL-treated group, there is no statistical difference between the two groups(P=0.313).At last,50.72% of patients in the GVO-treated group achieved gastric varices eradication. There was 52.46% in the GVL-treated group, but there was no significant difference(P=0.893).But the incidence of postoperative complications of GVL was 4.92%(3/61),while the incidence of complications after GVO was 27.54%(19/69),which was higher in the GVO group(P=0.001).Conclusion GVL is similar to GVO in controlling gastric variceal hemorrhage with low rebleeding rate, and the complications rate is less than GVO. |
