Background/Object:To compare EEG differences between Chinese dyslexia children and control group in pure tone and speech processing,and to provide reference for revealing the pathogenesis of dyslexia and the diagnosis of dyslexia at the neurobiological level.Methods: 21 children with Chinese dyslexia in Xinjiang were screened by case-control study and dyslexia screening scale.31 children in the control group were selected according to the matching principle of grade,sex and age.In pure tone passive Oddball experiment,stimulus materials include standard stimulus,rise time deviation,intensity deviation and duration deviation stimulus.In speech passive Oddball experiment,stimulus materials include standard and deviation stimulus.With the informed consent of the guardian,32 electrodes synchronously collected EEG data.The EEG data were preprocessed,analyzed in time domain and time-frequency by using MATLAB,eeglab and Fieldtrip.The differences of MMN,P1,N1 c,N2 EEG components and delta frequency bands between the dyslexia group and the control group were compared.Results:(1)MMN: 1)In pure tone passive Oddball experiment,the time deviation of FCz rise(p=0.026)and duration deviation stimulated MMN amplitude(p=0.037)in dyslexia group were smaller than those in control group;in 300-500 ms window,the time deviation of Fz duration stimulated MMN amplitude dyslexia group was smaller than that in control group(p=0.009);2)in speech passive Oddball experiment,FC4 MMN was latent in 300-450 ms window.The dyslexia group was larger than the control group(p=0.027).(2)P1-N1c-N2: 1)Pure tone passive Oddball test,repeated measurement variance analysis,the results of comparison between groups: A1(p= 0.032)and A2(p< 0.001)N1c latency dyslexia group was larger than the control group;A2 N1 c amplitude dyslexia group was smaller than the control group(p< 0.001),FCz P1 amplitude dyslexia group was smaller than the control group(p< 0.001);2)Pure tone passive Oddball experiment,the control group.Internal comparison results: In control group,the difference of N1 c latency of A2 under standard stimulation and rise time deviation stimulation was close to significant margin(p=0.070);in control group,the P1 amplitude of FCz under standard stimulation(p=0.013)and duration deviation stimulation(p=0.001)was larger than that under rise time deviation stimulation;in dyslexia group,the N1 c amplitude of A2 under rise time deviation stimulation was larger than that under standard stimulation.Rise time deviation(p= 0.009)and duration deviation stimulus(p=0.008);in dyslexia group,the difference of P1 latency between standard stimulus and rise time deviation stimulus was close to significant margin(p = 0.065);in speech passive Oddball experiment,the N2 latency of FC4 was greater than that of control group(p = 0.030);(3)Time-frequency analysis: In the speech passive Oddball experiment,the delta band energy(0.5-4 Hz,250-350 ms)in the dyslexia group was significantly higher than that in the control group(p < 0.001).Conclusion:(1)The ability of pure tone and speech discrimination of Chinese dyslexic children in Xinjiang is lower than that of normal children.(2)The pure tone and speech perception ability of Chinese dyslexic children in Xinjiang is lower than that of normal children.(3)Children with Chinese dyslexia in Xinjiang have deficiencies in phonological awareness.(4)MMN,P1,N1 c,N2 and delta band energy can provide reference for the diagnosis of Chinese dyslexia children. |
