| Objectives Study of type 1 diabetes patients serum B cell activating factor(BAFF),irisin level and its influence factors is discussed in this paper.Methods A total of 49 patients with T1 DM admitted to HeBei General Hospital from November 2017 to January 2019 were collected,with an average age of 27.04 years old,including 20 male patients and 29 female patients.During the same period,44 healthy controls with matching age,gender and body mass index were collected from the physical examination center of HeBei General Hospital,with an average age of 31.52 years,including 10 male patients and 34 female patients.White blood cells,hemoglobin,fasting blood glucose,fasting C peptide,creatinine,uric acid,urea,total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,and r-glutamyl aminotranspeptidase were determined in the two groups.Serum irisin and BAFF concentrations were determined by ELISA.Results 1 Fasting glucose level in the T1 DM group was significantly higher than that in the control group [(10.37±4.62 vs 4.92±0.37)mmol/L],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Fasting Fasting C peptide level in the T1 DM group was significantly lower than that in the control group [0.273(0.01,0.808)vs1.73(1.48,2.07)ng/mL],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).2Compared with the control group,the HDL-C level of T1 DM showed a downward trend[1.23(1.03,1.36)vs1.35(1.25,1.50)mmol/L],with a P value of 0.053.Compared with the control group,LDL-C level was increased [(2.94±0.96 vs 2.49±0.48)mmol/L] with a P value of 0.006,and the difference was statistically significant.3 The GADAb positive rate in T1 DM group was higher than that in control group,P<0.001,the difference was statistically significant.4 Serum BAFF level in the T1 DM group was significantly lower than that in the control group [13.69(6.11,21.95)vs 14.24(6.41,33.81)ng/mL],and the P value was 0.004,the difference was statistically significant.Serum BAFF level of females was significantly higher than that of males in T1 DM group and control group[23.32(13.92,48.90)vs 7.11(4.73,20.37)ng/mL],P<0.001,and the difference was statistically significant.5 Serum irisin level in T1 DM group was higher than that in control group [(496.10±172.23)vs(436.77± 76.14)ng/mL],P value was 0.036,the difference was statistically significant.The level of serum irisin in different genders showed no difference.6 Serum BAFF was positively correlated with BMI(r=0.391,P=0.025),waist circumference(r=0.332,P=0.02),duration of disease(r=0.315,P=0.028),uric acid(r=0.297,P=0.041)and high-density lipoprotein(r=0.298,P=0.042)in the T1 DM group.In the control group,serum BAFF level was positively correlated with BMI(r=0.349,P=0.022),waist circumference(r=0.368,P=0.015),c-peptide(r=0.495,P=0.001),high-density lipoprotein(r=0.388,P=0.012),and negatively correlated with hemoglobin(r=-0.363,P=0.02).7 Serum irisin was positively correlated with age(r=0.326,P=0.025),uric acid(r=0.436,P=0.002)and urea(r=0.516,P<0.001),negatively correlated with GADAb(r=-0.35,P=0.016)in the T1 DM group.In the control group,no correlation was found between serum irisin levels and included clinical indicators.8 The serum BAFF level was divided into four groups(Q1,Q2,Q3 and Q4)in quartile.After adjusting for age,BMI,waist circumference and LDL cholesterol,the results showed that compared with group Q1,the incidence of T1 DM in group Q2 and Q3 decreased,and the differences were statistically significant,with P values of 0.045 and 0.011,respectively.Serum irisin levels were quartile into four groups(Q1,Q2,Q3,and Q4),and adjusted for age,BMI,waist circumference,fasting glucose,and low-density lipoprotein.Results showed that compared with group Q1,the incidence of irisin in group Q4 increased,and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.039).9 1)Fasting C peptide and waistline were positive influencing factors of serum BAFF in T1 DM group,with P values of <0.001 and 0.016,respectively.2)Urea was the positive influence factor of serum irisin in T1 DM group,and the P values was 0.016.10 The analysis results of type 1 diabetes factor analysis show: waistline is the protection factor of type 1 diabetes.The risk factors of type 1 diabetes in fasting blood sugar.Conclusions 1 Serum BAFF level in T1 DM patients was lower.2 Serum irisin level was increased in patients with T1 DM.3 Fasting C peptide and waistline were positive factors of serum BAFF in T1 DM group;Urea was a positive influence factor of serum irisin in T1 DM group.4 Waistline is the protection factor of type 1 diabetes and fasting blood sugar is the risk factor of type 1 diabetes.Figure2;Table12;Reference 93. |
