Objective:To observe the expression of chemokine CXCL16 and its receptor CXCR6 in primary tumor,paracancer(>5 cm from the cancer margin)and liver metastasis in simultaneous Colorectal Cancer Liver Metastasis(CRCLM),the relationship of expressionbetween CXCL16/CXCR6 and clinicopathological features, paracancer and liver metastases in primary tumor was analyzed. And the relationship of expression was further studied between CXCL16/CXCR6 and CRCLM.Methods:This study collected pathological sections of primary tumor, paracancer and liver metastases from 20 simultaneous CRCLM cases. Then the study used immunohistochemistry to detect the expression levels of CXCL16/CXCR6,and respectively analyzed the expression level of CXCL16/CXCR6 in the gender, age, primary location of the tumor, pathological gross classification, pathological differentiation, tumor size, preoperative CEA level, normal side cancer group and liver metastasis group. The data of this study were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 statistical software usingX~2 test, rank sum test and Spearman correlation analysis, there was considered statistically significant(P<0.05/0.01).Results:There was not significantly different in the expression of CXCL16/CXCR6 in colorectal cancer tissues compared with gender, age, primary tumor location, tumor gross type, tumor differentiation and tumor size(P=0.992,P=0.992,P=0.273,P=0.921,P=0.780,P=0.921)(P>0.05),and the difference with preoperative CEA levels was statistically significant(P<0.05).The expression of CXCL16/CXCR6 in primary tumor group was significantly different from that in paracancer and liver metastases(P<0.05).Multiple sample rank sum test(Kruslcal-Wallish)compared the expression intensity of CXCL16 in the primary group, paracancer group and the liver metastase group, the results showed that the average rank was 32.10,17.10,42.15 respectively, and the Chi-Square statistic was 2.439,the degree of freedom df was 2,according to?=0.05,the results of the expression of CXCL16 in the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.001).The intensity of expression of CXCR6 in the three groups showed that the average rank respectly was 30.06,17.23,and 43.68,the Chi-Square statistic was 26.010,the degree of freedom df was 2,and?=0.05,CXCL16.The difference was statistically significant in the three groups(P<0.001).According to the Spearman's correlation coefficient r_s=0.819,and the confidence(both side)<0.001(<0.01),the expression of CXCL16 in the primary and liver metastases group was a positive correlation.According to Spearman's correlation coefficient r_s=0.809,and the confidence(bilateral)<0.001(<0.01),the expression of CXCR6 in the primary and liver metastases group was a positive correlation.Conclusion:1.The expression of CXCL16/CXCR6 in liver metastases of patients with CRCLM was higher than that of primary tumors, and the expression intensity was positively correlated.2.The expression of CXCL16/CXCR6 in primary and liver metastases of patients with CRCLM was associated with preoperative CEA levels.
