Effect Of Different Posterior Tibial Angles On Postoperative Knee Joint Function In TKA | Posted on:2020-07-04 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Y B Zhang | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2404330590987616 | Subject:Surgery | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective: To analyze the effects of total knee arthroplasty(TKA)in the Inner Mongolia region on the postoperative function of different humeral posterior osteotomy angles,so as to determine the appropriate angle of tibia osteotomy for the region.TKA provides a reference basis.Methods: A prospective randomized controlled trial was conducted in patients who underwent TKA with a Stryker Scrorpio NRG Knee-Flexed prosthesis from January 2017 to December 2017.Patients with TKA were randomized into two groups.For group A(postoperative tibiofibular angle of osteotomy is 7°-10°)and group B(for tibia osteotomy according to preoperative anatomical angle osteotomy),US Department of Special Surgery(HSS)score was used to evaluate TKA Knee function,a 1-year follow-up study(6 weeks,3 months,6 months,1 year after surgery)was included,and all data collected were recorded and analyzed using SPSS 22.0 statistical software.Independent sample t-test analysis showed whether there was a statistical difference in HSS score and knee joint activity between the two groups.Results: A total of 71 patients(84 knees)were followed up and corrected for knee deformity,which relieved pain and improved knee function.The preoperative average HSS score was 46.11±11.94,and the postoperative HSS score was 90.11±5.33.The patient’s surgical satisfaction was higher.The knee joint activity before operation was 89.58±18.78,and the postoperative knee joint activity was 110.89±6.22.The postoperative knee joint activity was significantly improved compared with preoperative.We obtained data that the mean value of tibia declination in patients with osteoarthritis in Inner Mongolia was 17.75±5.73,which was significantly different from other regions.There was a statistically significant difference in HSS scores between group A and group B at 6 months and 1 year.There was a statistically significant difference in knee joint mobility between group A and group B at 3 months,6 months,and 1 year after surgery.Conclusions: 1.This study was the first to perform preoperative PSA statistics on knee osteoarthritis patients in the northwestern part of Inner Mongolia,which is quite different from other populations.2.It is recommended that the TKA tibia be osteotomy according to the preoperative anatomical angle,and the postoperative effect is better.3.TKA significantly improved the knee function and knee mobility of patients,and most patients with TKA achieved satisfactory short-term results. | Keywords/Search Tags: | TKA, PSA, PS, ROM, HSS | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
