| Objective:By analyzing the energy spectrum imaging parameters of malignant and acute benign vertebral compression fractures were to explore the clinical application value of CT energy spectrum imaging in differentiating benign and malignant vertebral compression fractures. Methods:From November 2017 to December 2018,fifteen patients with malignant and benign vertebral compression fractures were selected in Qinghai provincial people’s hospital, the lesion of vertebral bodies was 22 and 19,and were divided into the metastatic tumor group and the control group.Used the Revolution CT-energy spectrum sequence and Quality Check-140 kvp scan, all the original data from the scan were reconstructed into thiner layers with a thickness of 1.25 mm,which was imported into the GE-AW4.6 workstation GSI View software package and Volume Viewer,respectively.1.Measured the CT and SD values(the heterogeneity of the lesion)of each lesion in the area of the single-energy 140 kvp and 40 ~ 140kev(energy interval of 10keV)virtual monochromatic spectral(VMS)CT images,2.Drew the energy spectrum curves of each lesion, and calculated the slopes of the energy spectrum curves(take the range of 40 kev to 100 kev as reference),3.The contents of calcium, bone and water of lesions in two groups were measured respectively, the above measured data were statistically analyzed. Results:The median CT value of metastatic tumor group in the 40-140 kev was significantly lower than that in the control group,P<0.05,which was statistically significant,The median CT value of metastatic tumor group in the QC-140 kvp was slightly lower than that in the control group, but P>0.05,which was not statistically significant; In the metastatic tumor group, the median SD value of virtual monochromatic spectral 40-140 kev and QC-140 kvp was slightly lower than that of the control group, but P>0.05,which was not statistically significant; There was a statistical difference in the slope of energy spectrum between the metastatic tumor group and the control group,P<0.05;In the metastatic tumor group, the median value of bone content was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the median value of calcium content was slightly lower than that of the control group,P<0.05,which were statistically significant,In the metastatic tumor group, the median value of water(bone)content was significantly higher than that in the control group,P<0.05,which was statistically significant; In the metastatic tumor group, the median value of water(calcium)content was slightly lower than that in the control group, but P>0.05,which was not statistical difference.Conclusion:1.Single-energy imaging and energy spectrum curve analysis are of value in the identification of lesions in the two groups, and the CT value at low kev level is conducive to the identification of it.2.Material decomposition imaging can quantitatively reflect the relative content of the main substances in the tissue, which has the potential value of objectively reflecting the histopathological changes of it. |
