Coronary heart disease can lead to insufficient blood supply to the heart,lower blood oxygen saturation,induced myocardial infarction and death,which endanger human life and health seriously.With the development of medical image processing technology and computer technology,the core technology of computer aided diagnosis system plays a more and more important role and gradually become the focus of the current research.Among them,coronary segmentation is a fundamental step in the analysis of coronary artery,meanwhile,it is also a prerequisite for curved planar reformation.Curved planar reformation is a visualization technique that allows the physician to observe the internal structure and overall shape of the blood vessel,which can display blood vessel trend and details of the lesion and assist the doctor in the diagnosis of the disease.The study work of this paper includes coronary artery segmentation and vascular curved planar reformation,the specific work content and results include the following points:(1)The segmentation of coronary artery is studied and segmentation of the ascending aorta and coronary arteries are achieved.By selecting an initial ascending aorta seed point,the region growth algorithm is used to segment the ascending aorta accurately and quickly,and the ascending aorta is reconstructed and visualized by using the tool of VTK.As only one initial seed point is selected,compared with the traditional medical image segmentation software,the method proposed in the paper can realize the whole segmentation of the ascending aorta and it has the advantages of simple and quick operation,this is an innovation point of this paper.The volume of interest of coronary is determined according to the ascending aorta position information,the seed points are selected and the coronary artery is segmented successfully by setting the growth criteria.(2)The technology of curved planar reformation is studied and an improved method of stretched curved planar reformation is proposed and implemented.In this paper,a new method that combines projected curved planar reformation and stretched curved planar reformation method is proposed and implemented by analyzing the existing principle and basic method of curved planar reformation,summarizing and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the basic method of curved planar reformation,blood vessels are observed in different directions at the same time by setting a number of interested vectors.(3)Vascular curved planar reformation software is designed and developed.The software integrates the improved stretched curved planar reformation algorithm and the straightened curved planar reformation algorithm,and realizes the rapid curved planar reformation of coronary artery by loading CT heart data and centerline data.At the same time,the platform also has three-dimensional visualization of the heart,heart slices display,the ascending aorta on the one-button segmentation and three-dimensional reconstruction of the vessel and other functions.Among them,in the aspect of three-dimensional visualization,the volume is rendered and displayed by using the ray casting algorithm.In the aspect of slice displaying,the coronal plane,sagittal plane and cross-section plane of heart are displayed by using the Qt language in this paper.
