| Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae is the dried ripe fruits peel of Citrus reticulata.As a vital Chinese herbal medicine,PCR possesses various therapeutic activities,including strengthening spleen,promoting qi,eliminating dampness and phlegm,and so forth.Among of the main PCR,the dried ripe pericarp of “Chachi,” mainly produced in Xinhui district of Guangdong Province in China,named “Guang Chenpi “in Chinese,is viewed as famous drug of the region on account of its superior quality.In this study,a comparative analysis was made on the characteristic chemical composition and activity of the essential oils and flavonoids in 11 different areas of Xinhui district of Guangdong Province.1.Steam distillation was used to extract PCR essential oil.Compared with the extraction amount of essential oil,it was found that the highest extracting amount of PCR in the Shuangshui area was 24.40 mg/g.GC-MS was used to identify and analyze the volatile components of essential oils.The results showed that 124 essential volatile oils were identified in 11 essential oils,of which 18 were volatile components.The main component analysis method was used to analyze the results of GC-MS to obtain volatile substances unique to each region.There were 6 kinds in Nantan area,6 kinds in Shuangshui area,4 kinds in Siqian area,and 3 kinds in Daze area.There are two kinds in Sanjiang area and one kinds in other area.Comparing the antibacterial activity of 11 essential oils by using a filter paper plate diffusion method,the results showed that the antibacterial activity of essential oils in Tianma area was the strongest.2.Analysis of flavonoids from different PCR and their antioxidant activity.After the flavonoids in PCR were extracted with 80% ethanol,the total flavonoids content was determined by spectrophotometry.The results showed that the highest content of total flavonoids was 68.51 mg/g for Dongjiaquanzhi,and the lowest was 69.78 mg/g for Tama area.Using LC-MS to analyze the properties and content of flavonoids contained in 11 kinds of PCR.The results showed that the highest content of tangeretin in PCR from Dongjia area was 3.826 mg/g.The content of sinensetin was the highest in the Dongjiaquanzhi,which was 1.447mg/g.The content of methylophiop-ogonanone A and isosinensetin was the highest in PCR from Meijiang area,which was 2.327 mg/g and 0.424mg/g.The content of pachypodol,didymin and naringin was the highest in PCR from Nantan area,which was 3.865 mg/g,0.023mg/g,0.205mg/g.The content of methylophiopogonanone A,hesperidin and neohesperidin was the highest in PCR from Nantan area,which was 2.327 mg/g,7.964mg/g,0.078mg/g.The content of nobiletin was the highest in PCR from Nantan area,which was 4.113mg/g.Using the FRAP method to determine the total antioxidant capacity of PCR in different producing areas,the results showed that the FPAP value was the strongest in Daze area,with a value of 291.449μM TE/g,and the the smallest of FRAP was in the Siqian area,which was 175.405μM TE/g. |
