Objective:This study aims to issue a method to evaluate unpredictable changes of facial soft-tissue during lingual orthodontic therapy by three-dimensional stereophotogrammetry and digital analysis,in order to provide reference for orthodontic treatmentMaterial and methods:This study compared volume of 3 facial soft-tissue areas of 10 patients undergoing lingual therapy before treatment,3 months and 6 months after treatment beganResult:Decrease of volume in a,b areas shows statistical significance from beginning to 3 months of treatment.Decrease of volume in b areas shows statistical significance from 3 months of treatment to 6 months of treatmentConclusions:the facial soft-tissue of lingual therapy patient shows statistical significant changes during 6 months of treatment.
