Objective:The survey of health service need and utilization of university students and its influencing factors objectively reflects the achievements and problems of health reform and development in Universities of Wuhan city by understanding the information of health service need and utilization of college students,and analyses the changing trend and influencing factors of health service need and utilization of students,so as to formulate health development planning and evaluation.The effect of medical reform provides objective basis..Methods:A multi-stage stratified(cluster)sampling method was used to collect 11093students from 18 colleges and universities in Wuhan.The health service needs of college students and the information of health service needs and utilization of students in different grades were investigated by questionnaires,micro-message scanners or web pages.The single-factor influencing factor analysis method and Logistic multifactor influencing factor analysis method were used.Factor analysis method was used to analyze the influencing factors of health service needs and utilization of college students in Wuhan.Results:The health service need and influencing factors of college students in Wuhan:The two-week prevalence rate of college students in Wuhan is 19.52%,the half-year prevalence rate of chronic diseases is 4.81%;The two-week prevalence rate of urban students is 21.89%,and that of rural students is 15.76%;The two-week prevalence rate of female students is 21.09%,and that of male students is 17.51%;The two-week prevalence rate of college students in different grades has statistical significance(?~2=25.9974,P<0.0001);Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was made on the influencing factors of the two-week prevalence rate.The results showed that the two-week prevalence rate of female students was higher than that of male students;The two-week prevalence rate of sophomores,juniors and postgraduates was higher than that of other grades;Alcohol consumption was also a risk factor for two-week prevalence.The prevalence of chronic diseases in female students is 5.25%and that of male students is 4.24%.There are significant differences in the prevalence of chronic diseases among college students of different habitats(?~2=15.1437,P<0.005);The prevalence of chronic diseases in urban students is 5.09%,which is higher than that of rural students(3.71%);The influencing factors of chronic diseases are various.The results of Logistic regression analysis showed that the risk factors of chronic diseases were female,junior high school students and senior high school students.Utilization of health services and its influencing factors for college students in Wuhan:The two-week hospital visit rate of college students in Wuhan is 9.71%,of which 8.46%for male students and 10.69%for female students;The two-week hospital visit rate of college students in different habitats has statistical significance(?~2=333.8895,P<0.0001),The two-week hospital visit rate of college students from big cities and medium cities are10.18%and 10.66%,which are higher than the two-week hospital visit rate of college students from rural areas.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of the two-week visiting rate.The results showed that female students,fifth grade students of sophomores,senior three,senior five,master’s degree postgraduates and alcohol consumption were the promoting factors of the two-week visiting rate.The overall annual hospitalization rate of Wuhan university students is4.42%.There is no significant difference in the annual hospitalization rate among different family origin types of University students.The annual hospitalization rate of female college students is lower than that of male college students.Conclusion:The two-week morbidity and chronic disease morbidity of Undergraduates in Wuhan are higher than the national average level of the same age group(15-24 years old group).Health service need need to be paid attention to.The two-week hospital visit rate and annual hospitalization rate of college students in Wuhan are low.Colleges and universities should take measures to remove obstacles to medical treatment and guide college students to seek medical treatment correctly and scientifically.The utilization of health services of college students is closely related to the type of residence and the corresponding family economic situation.Colleges and universities should pay special attention to the health service need and utilization of students with poor economic conditions.At present,college students are not aware of their own health protection and disease prevention and health care,and there are many unhealthy living habits.Colleges and universities should strengthen propaganda and education.
