| Objective: To observe the effect of psyllium chinensis polysaccharide capsule intervention on the number of Escherichia coli and Bacteroides variabilis in the intestinal tract of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(Q-PCR method)and lung function FVC,FEV1% pred and FEV1/FVC%;Serum interleukin-6,tumor ne-cro sis factor alpha;arterial blood PO2,PCO2;6-minute walking test;and changes in the number of acute episodes within six months,explore its intervention mechanism for elderly chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,and explore the improvement of eld-erly chronic obstructive pulmonary disease New therapeutic effects and broadening theclinical application of psyllium chinensis polysaccharide capsules.Methods: From January 2018 to December 2018,we slected in the Department of Geriatrics,Affiliated Hospital of Gansu University of Chinese Medicine,80 patients who were improved and discharged.The diagnosis of COPD was clear,and the degree of airflow limitation was II to III,and during stable phase and was randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group,40 cases in each group.At the same time,30 healthy controls were randomly selected as the normal group in the physical examination center of our hospital.The age ranged from 65 to 85 years old,and all of them signed the informed consent.The book voluntarily participates in this study.The two groups of stable Western medicine treatment plans were based on the GOLD guidelines(2018 version)and combined with personal factors.On this basis,the control group was given 4 capsules of starch granules twice a day,half an hour before breakfast anddinner,and served in the treatment group.The psyllium crude polysaccharide capsule was taken in the same way as the control group for 2 months.The relevant indicators were tested before and after treatment,and the number of acute episodes during the 6-month recording period was continued.The normal group only detected the polymorphism in the intestine.The number of Bacteroides and Enterobacter genus.Data analysis was performed using Sp SS 18.0 software.The normal distribution of the measurement data is expressed as mean ± standard deviation(?x±S),the median of the non-normal distribution,the interquartile range [M(p25,p75)],the difference between the two groupsthrough two Independent sample t test or Mann-Whitney U test;paired statistics.Pearson correlation analysis was used for correlation test.p<0.05 was used to determine the difference.Results:Before treatment:gender composition ratio,age distribution,TNF-a,IL-6,relative expression of Bacteroides variabilis,relative expression of Escherichia coli,ratio of Escherichia coli and Bacteroides Bacillus,FVC There was no significant difference in the composition ratio of FEV1/FVC,FEV1%pred,and all grades of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.However,compared with the normal group,the two groups of pseudomonas polymorpha were less and the rectal bacillus was more(p<0.05).After treatment:the expression of Bacteroides variabilis in the treatment group increased(p<0.05),but it was still less than the normal group(p<0.05).The expression of Bacteroides variabilis in the control group remained(p>0.05).The expression of Bacteroides was significantly higher than that of the control group(p<0.001).The expression of C.jejuni in the treatment group decreased(p<0.05),but it was more than that in the normal group(p<0.05).The therapeutic group of E.coli was significantly lower than the control group(p<0.01).The ratio of prosthetic and Bacteroides in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(p<0.001);IL-6 was in the control group.The increase in the previous(p<0.001)was lower in the treatment group(p<0.05),the IL-6 level in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(p<0.001),and the TNF-a was increased in the control group(p<0.001)was significantly lower in the treatment group(p<0.001).The TNF-a level in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(p<0.001).The FVC in the control group had no significant change before,FEV1% pred,FEV1 /FVC decreased significantly(p all less than 0.001),FVC in the treatment group did not improve significantly before treatment,FEV1% pred,FEV1/FVC were treated There were improvement before treatment(p all less than 0.05),there was no significant difference in FVC between the two groups(p>0.05),FEV1/FVC and FEV1% pred in the treatment group were higher t-han the control group(p<0.001);The blood PO2 increased slightly(p<0.05),but the PCO2 did not change significantly(p>0.05).The PO2 of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the previous one(p<0.001),and the PCO2 had no significant change(p>0.05).PCO2 was significantly higher than the treatment group(p<0.05),while PO2 was significantly lower than the treatment group(p<0.001).The walking distance of the six-minute walking test was not significantly different between the control group and the control group(p>0.05).There was a significant increase(p<0.001).The walking distance of the control group was significantly lower than that of the treatment group(p<0.001).The number of acute attacks in the treatment group was less than that of the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion:(1)psyllium chinensis polysaccharide capsule can reduce the ratio of the number of Escherichia coli and Bacteroides variabilis in the intestinal tract of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.(2)The intervention of psyllium chinensis polysaccharide capsule can reduce the level of inflammation in patients,improve lung function,increase arterial blood PO2,improve exercise endurance,and improve patients’ quality of life,which may be related to regulating microflora of intestinal flora. |
