The Clinical Value Of Plasma Septin9 Gene Methylation In The Diagnosis,Surgical Efficacy Evaluation And Recurrence Monitoring Of Colorectal Cancer | | Posted on:2021-01-17 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Z Q Zhu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2404330602462732 | Subject:Surgery | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective: To explore the clinical value of plasma septin9 gene methylation(mSEPT9)in the diagnosis,surgical efficacy evaluation and recurrence monitoring of colorectal cancer.Methods: To study the blood samples of patients and healthy controls diagnosed as colorectal cancer in the FirstAffiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from March 2019 toAugust2019,and to detect mSEPT9 and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA).To analyze the changes of mSEPT9 and CEA levels in perioperative period of colorectal cancer and the value of follow-up monitoring after operation.Results: To study the blood samples of patients and healthy controls diagnosed as colorectal cancer in the FirstAffiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from March 2019 to July 2019,and to detect mSEPT9 and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA).To analyze the changes of mSEPT9 and CEA levels in perioperative period of colorectal cancer and the value of follow-up monitoring after operation.Results: Blood samples from 57 patients with colorectal cancer and 85 healthy people were collected for detection and analysis.The positive rate of mSEPT9 and CEA was 71.9%(41/57)and 38.6%(22/57)respectively.The positive rates of mSEPT9 and CEAwere 1.19%(1/85)and 9.4%(8/85)in healthy people.The results showed that there was significant difference in the expression of mSEPT9 between patients with colorectal cancer and healthy people(P<0.05),and the expression of mSEPT9 in patients with colorectal cancer was better than that of CEA(P<0.05).Twenty-eight patients with colorectal cancer without distant metastasis underwent radical surgery.19 of them were positive for mSEPT9,17 were negative after operation,and the negative rate was 89.4%.The difference was statistically significant compared with that before operation(P<0.05);7 patients with distant metastasis underwent palliative primary tumor resection,7 patients were positive for mSEPT9 before operation and 0.4% after operation.The negative conversion rate was 0.0%.There was nosignificant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The positive rate of mSEPT9 was significantly correlated with the status of colorectal cancer patients with tumors.In 104 patients with colorectal cancer,the sensitivity and specificity of mSEPT9 were 83.3% and 97.7%respectively.The sensitivity and specificity of CEA were 61.1% and 89.5% respectively.There was significant difference in specificity between the two groups(P<0.05).conclusion: The detection of msept9 has a high clinical value in the evaluation of colorectal cancer surgical efficacy andmonitoringofrecurrence. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Colorectalcancer, mSEPT9, CEA, Recurrence and Metastasis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
