| BACKGROUND: In this study,we investigate the possible association of serum level of cystatin C(CysC)and lipides with risk of intracranial aneurysm(IA)rupture.METHODS : The medical records of 392 patients with IAs diagnosed at the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang medical university between2017 to 2019 were reviewed and analyzed.Patients were separated into ruptured and non-ruptured groups.Univariable and multivariable logistic regression analyses were performed to determine the effects of CysC,and lipids on IAs rupture risks.RESULTS : The data from 392 patients with IAs were analyzed. The univariate analysis results showed significant differences in female sex,Hypertension,Hyperlipidemia, triglycerides,CysC values,apolipoproteinsAI(ApoA-1),apolipoproteins-B(Apo-B),and aneurysm size ≤7mm between the ruptured and unruptured IAs groups.Multivariable logistic regression analyses showed that Hyperlipidemia(OR 0.140,95 % %CI 0.015-0.238:P<0.001),aneurysm size ≤7mm(OR 0.446,95%CI 0.244-0.813:P= 0.008),Triglycerides(OR 0.363,95 % CI 0.268-0.492:P < 0.001),ApoA-I(OR 0.140,95 % CI 0.051-0.383:P < 0.001),and CysC(OR 0.060,95 % CI 0.015-0.238:P < 0.001)are significantly associated with risk of IAs rupture.CONCLUSIONS : The lower of CysC,APO-A1,Triglycerides and aneurysm size ≤7mm contributed to greater risk of IAs rupture.IAs patients with Hyperlipidemia have decreased risk of IAs rupture. |
