Objective:Study the correlation between non-drug factors such as virulence type、gender、age、diagnosis and eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori;Method:A total of 310 patients with positive C14-urea breath test and Helicobacter pylori antibody test were admitted at Gastroenterology Department of Xinjiang Autonomous Region People’s Hospital from December 2018 to August 2019.Based on the detection of H.pylori serum antibodies, participants were divided into those who infected with type Ⅰ strains(CagA+VacA-/CagA-VacA+/CagA+VacA+)and those who infected with type Ⅱ strains(CagA-VacA-).All participants were given bismuth quadruple therapy consisting of amoxicillin, clarithromycin, bismuth, pantoprazole and followed up,eradication rates of type Ⅰ strains and type Ⅱ strains were calculated separately;Simultaneously, information on gender, age, diagnosis, whether combined with diabetes or hypertension, compliance,BMI,area of residence(city or rural),educational level, whether smoking or drinking during the eradication treatment etc were collected for all subjects. We performed univariate analysis with factors above for both successfully eradicated and failed groups, then performed multivariate logistic regression analysis on positive indicators.Result:There were 210 type Ⅰ strain and 100 type Ⅱ strain infected participants; In each group,7and 2 participants were lost to follow up respectively;Assuming the eradication outcome of those who were lost to follow-up as being falied, the eradication rates in two groups were 81.90%(172/210)and 69.00%(69/100)respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=6.520,P=0.011).The overall eradication rate of both groups was 77.74%(241/310).Excluding those who were lost to follow up,the statistics of 301participants showed that the eradication rates of two groups were 84.73%(172/203)and70.41%(69/98)separately,and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2=8.493,P=0.004).The overall eradication rate of both groups was 80.07%(241/301).By univariate analysis, the eradication rate of patients with type Ⅰ strain infection, good compliance and those who were non-smokers,non-drinkers during the eradication treatment were higher than that of type Ⅱ strain infection, poor compliance, smokers, drinkers and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis suggested that type Ⅱ strain infection, poor compliance, smoking and drinking during the eradication treatment are risk factors that would lower the eradication rate; Conclusion:The eradication rate can be predicted by the detection of H.pylori antibodies, and the eradication rate may be higher in those who infected with type Ⅰ strains.Regular medication, not smoking or not drinking during the treatment may increase the eradication rate of H.pylori; The eradication rate of H.pylori with bismuth based quadruple therapy in xinjiang is low(80.07%).
