Clinical Study On Treatment Of Cervical Spondylosis Of Vertebral Artery Type (Syndrome Of Phlegm-dampness Block) With Decoction Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined With Manipulation Of Bone-setting

Objective: To observe and compare the clinical effect of cervical Vertebra bone-setting manipulation combined with self-made decoction of traditional Chinese medicine and Ruyi Zhenbao pill in treating cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type(syndrome of phlegm-dampness block),the feasibility,practicability and advancement of the treatment of cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type(syndrome of phlegm-dampness block)by oral Chinese Medicine decoction combined with manual bone-setting were explained.Methods:Fifty-nine cases of cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type(phlegm-dampness block syndrome)were randomly divided into control group(29cases)and treatment group(30 cases)according to the order of treatment,the treatment group was treated by warming Yang and stopping Vertigo decoction combined with cervical vertebra lifting and pulling.Before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy of the patients was evaluated and compared by using NPQ neck pain scale,visual analogue scale,cervical vertigo symptom scale and functional assessment scale.Results: After treatment,the clinical pain symptoms and quality of life of the two groups were alleviated,and the scores of NPQ neck pain scale were significantly decreased(p < 0.05)The improvement of clinical symptoms and quality of life in the manipulation group was better than that in the control group(p < 0.05),and the total effective rate in the manipulation group was 93.3%,significantly higher than that in the control group(72.4%,p < 0.05),the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05).Conclusion: Through treatment,both oral Chinese Medicine decoction combined with Manual bone-setting and Ruyi Zhenbao pill combined with manual bone-setting can improve patients’ symptoms to different degrees,however,oral Chinese Medicine decoction combined with manual bone-setting can effectively relieve symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients with vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis(phlegm-dampness block syndrome),and its effect is significantly better than Ruyi Zhenbao pill combined with manual bone-setting.
