Clinical Study Of Shugan Jieyu Tiaoshen Decoction In The Treatment Of Insomnia With Liver Depression And Fire Syndrome

Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of Shugan Jieyu Tiaoshen Recipe on insomnia caused by depressed liver-qi and liver-fire.Methods: The study is to observe the clinical curative effect of the Prescription of Dispersing Stagnated Liver-qi for Relieving Liver-qi Stagnation and Recuperate the Mind Shugan Jieyu Tiaoshen Decoction on liver depression and fire syndrome insomnia,and compare it with the curative effect of Baicaoxiang Remove Atagnation to Induce Sleep Capsule,so as to provide certain theoretical basis for the clinical application of Chinese medicine in treating insomnia caused by liver depression and fire syndrome.Results: 72 eligible patients were initially included in this study.During the treatment process,2 patients lost follow-up,3 patients lost concomitant medication,and 2 patients lost medication as required.Finally,the data of 65 patients were analyzed statistically.Comparability analysis results of demographic data: there is no statistically significant difference in age and gender between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05),and the two groups are balanced and comparable.Statistical analysis of the data after treatment shows that the Prescription of Dispersing Stagnated Liver-qi for Relieving Liver-qi Stagnation and Recuperate the Mind can significantly improve the symptoms and signs of insomnia patients with liver depression and fire syndrome.The observation results show that the drugs in the treatment group and the control group can improve the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine.After 4 weeks of treatment,in the treatment group,the cure rate is 21.2%,the obvious efficiency is 48.5%,the effective rate is 21.2%,and the ineffective rate is 9.1%,while in the control group,the cure rate is 6.3%,the obvious efficiency is 31.3%,the effective rate is 40.6%,and the ineffective rate is 21.9%.The effective rate of TCM syndrome points after treatment between the treatment group and the control group is-2.682,P=0.007 by Z test,which indicates that there is statistical difference in TCM syndrome curative effect after medication(P<0.05).The treatment group is obviously superior to the control group in improving TCM symptoms.After the treatment,PSQI total score,total sleep time,sleep time,number of awakenings throughout the night,duration of awakenings and early awakenings were significantly improved in the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05).In the treatment group,the cure rate is 18.2%,the effective rate is 36.4%,the effective rate is 33.3%,and the ineffective rate is 12.1%.in the control group,the cure rate is 9.4%,the effective rate is 31.3%,the effective rate is 37.5%,and the ineffective rate is 21.9%.Besides,the effective rate between the treatment group and the control group is-1.376,P=0.169 through Z test,and the overall curative effect has no significant difference in statistics(P>0.05).Conclusion: Through clinical research,it is preliminarily proved that The Prescription of Dispersing Stagnated Liver-qi for Relieving Liver-qi Stagnation and Recuperate the Mind can effectively relieve insomnia symptoms of patients with liver depression and fire syndrome insomnia,and improve TCM syndromes of liver depression and fire syndromes such as restlessness,vexation and irritability,chest tightness and discomfort,distending pain in chest and hypochondrium,dizziness and headache,dreaminess and amnesia,thirsty and bitter taste,and constipation,which can further guide clinical treatment and improve curative effect.
