Evaluation Of The Effect Of WeChat Platform In Continuous Nursing After Tendon Repair Of Hand Trauma

Objective:To evaluate the continuous nursing mode through WeChat platform in postoperative patients with hand,this research compared effect evaluation of tendon repair which were grouped continuous nursing mode with or without WeChat platform.This result can provide useful experience to improve hand function,quality of life,depression,anxiety,and reduce the incidence of postoperative complication investigated.Methods:A total of 80 patients who underwent tendon repair in hand surgery department of a hospital in Jingzhou from January to June 2019 were selected as the study objects.The patients were randomly divided into the intervention group(n=40)and the control group(n=40).In the intervention group,the continuous nursing team carried out the continuous nursing intervention for 6 months through the WeChat platform,while the control group carried out the continuous nursing intervention for 6 months through the routine telephone follow-up guidance.Guidance for two groups of patients was the same content.The general information questionnaire was collected before leaving hospital patients.The hand function data of each patient was collected when patients went back to the hospital to review after leaving hospital 1 month,3 months,6 months respectively.The data of depression,anxiety,daily life activities after leaving hospital 6 months was selected by questionnaire from patients.The incidence of complications in the follow-up was also collected.The collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS21.0 software.The measurement data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation(x±s),and the data of classification variables were expressed as frequency.The comparison between groups was expressed as t-test.Results:(1)Before the intervention,the comparison of two groups of patients with hand function was no significant difference(P>0.05).Six months later,after the intervention,hand function in intervention group was 90%,the control group was 65%.The hand function in patients with intervention group was better than control group,compare the differences between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)After the intervention 6 months,there were no patients with depression in the intervention group and 6 patients with depression in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)After 6 months,there were 1 patient with anxiety in the intervention group and 8 patients in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)After 6 months,37 patients in the intervention group and 26 patients in the control group had their daily living ability restored to normal.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)After six months,in the intervention groip 1 case of wound infection,1 case appeared stiff joints,2 cases with tendon adhesion,no tendon secondary fracture,3 cases in the control group appeared wound infection,4 cases with joint stiffness,5 cases with tendon adhesion secondary fracture,1 case of tendons.Compared two groups of patients with complications,intervention group was 10%,the control group was 32.5%,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The continuous nursing on WeChat platform can help patients to exercise their functions better,develop good living habits,facilitate the recovery of hand function,improve the ability of patients to take care of themselves,reduce the adverse psychological feeling of patients’ anxiety,reduce the occurrence of postoperative complications,and contribute to the early recovery of the disease.
