Objective:To explore the correlation between the environmental factors during pregnancy and the pathogenesis of autism spectrum disorder, and to provide a reference for the early prevention and etiology of autism spectrum disorder. Methods:In this study,a retrospective case-control method was used.Autism spectrum disorder who were treated in a Yangzhou Chuying child development center and Yangzhou Maternal and Child Care Service Centre from November 2018 to November2019 were selected as case groups and randomized.Sampling Normal children who underwent a physical examination at the North Jiangsu People’s Hospital and Yangzhou Maternal and Child Care Service Centre during the same period were taken as the research objects in the way of systematic sampling method. The study objects were divided into case groups and normal child control groups for field questionnaire surveys. Before the investigation, they communicated with the parents of the children. The parents agreed and signed an informed consent, and they were also able to participate in the investigation.Finally,36 cases of the case group that met the inclusion criteria and64 cases of the normal control group were collected. The research questionnaire is based on domestic and foreign literature reports on maternal risk factors for autism spectrum disorder. It is also based on relevant books and literature studies. The questionnaire includes some information such as general demographic of children and their parents, health status during pregnancy, living habits during pregnancy, living and working environment during pregnancy, perinatal status.Complete the questionnaire by the on-site guidance. After the questionnaire is recovered, the unqualified questionnaire is eliminated and the data is entered.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 19.0software to discuss the correlation between maternal environmental factors and the pathogenesis of autism spectrum disorder.Result:Univariate analysis was performed on the living environment factors during pregnancy of the case group and the normal control group. It was found that father’s smoking during pregnancy(P = 0.006),living near the highway during pregnancy(P =0.016),and decoration of residence during pregnancy(P = 0.045),the use of microwave ovens during pregnancy(P = 0.005)and the use of nail polish during pregnancy(P =0.035)were statistically significant.Logistic regression analysis was used for the above five risk factors.Statistical analysis was performed with or without autism spectrum disorder as the dependent variable and the above indicators as independent variables. The results suggested that father’s smoking during pregnancy(P = 0.002)and living near the highway during pregnancy(P = 0.004)have an impact on autism spectrum disorder. The two factors were statistical significant(P <0.05).The univariate analysis of the working environment of the study subjects’ mothers worked during pregnancy showed that the difference between the two groups was that the work place near the highway(P = 0.034)and the lead exposure during pregnancy(P = 0.026)are statistical significant.Logistic regression analysis was used for the above two risk factors in the same way.The results suggest that the work place near the highway of pregnant woman during pregnancy(P = 0.035)and lead exposure during pregnancy(P = 0.034)have effects on autism spectrum disorder. The above two risk factors were Statistical significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:The study found that living and working near the highway during pregnancy, lead exposure during pregnancy, and father smoking during pregnancy may have a great relationship with the incidence of autism spectrum disorder, among the numerous environmental factors during pregnancy.Parents should pay attention to the living and working environment during pregnancy.Keep away from the environment with serious traffic pollution and adopt corresponding protective measures. At the same time, parents should maintain good living habits, avoid pregnant women from being exposed to the environment of second-hand smoke, and protect the physical and mental health of pregnant women and a good environment for living and working during pregnancy.
