| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of supplemented Chaihu Guizhi Decoction in the treatment of chronic urticaria, detect the change of serum total IgE before and after treatment, evaluate its safety and recurrence rate, and explore the effectiveness and advantages of this prescription in the treatment of CU.Methods: A total of 72 patients were selected according to the case selection criteria, and randomly divided into two group. The treatment group was orally administered with supplemented Chaihu Guizhi Decoction, while the control group was given oral Desloratadine Citrate Disodium Tablets. The treatment course of these two groups was8 weeks.During the treatment period, the follow-up visit was observed and recorded once a week, and the efficacy judgment was made every 4 weeks.Observe the changes of observation indicators such as clinical severity score, total serum IgE value,CU-Q2 oL score before and after treatment in two groups of patients, and evaluate the clinical efficacy, incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate before and after treatment.Results:1.There were 72 patients included in the test.In the treatment group, there were 2cases fell off,and a total of 34 patients completed the treatment. In the control group, there were 3 cases fell off,33 cases of which completed the treatment.Statistical analysis was conducted on the general data of the two groups of patients such as gender, disease course, and total serum IgE value, symptom score, and CU-Q2 oL score before treatment. The above data were comparable to each other and no significant difference(P> 0.05).2.After 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment, the clinical severity scores of the two groups of patients were distinctly reduced compared with before treatment, and the difference was significant(P <0.05);while the difference between the two groups was not significant(P> 0.05).3.After the course of treatment, the TCM symptom scores of the two groups of patients were significantly reduced compared with before treatment in the treatment group, and the difference was significant(P <0.05);the control group was no significant difference(P> 0.05);the difference between the treatment group and the control group was significant(P <0.05).4.After 8 weeks of treatment, the CU-Q2 oL scores of the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment, and the difference was significant(P <0.05);the comparison between the two groups was no significant(P> 0.05)5.After 8 weeks of treatment, the total serum IgE value of the two groups was significantly lower than those before treatment, and have a statistically significantly(P <0.05);compared between the treatment group and the control group, the difference was not significant(P> 0.05).6.After 4 weeks of treatment, the cure rate was 41.18% in the treatment group,39.39% in the control group, the total effective rate of treatment group was 79.41%,and the control group was 78.38%.After 8 weeks of treatment, the cure rate and the total effective rate were significantly increased in the two groups. The cure rate of treatment group was 58.82% and the control group was 51.56%,the total effective rate of treatment group was 88.24%,the control group was 81.87%.The cure rate and the total effective rate of two groups were compared each other after 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment, and the difference was not Significantly(P> 0.05).7.During the course of treatment,a total of 2 patients in the treatment group had mild adverse reactions with an incidence of 5.82%,and 9 patients in the control group had mild adverse reactions with an incidence of 27.27%.The incidence of adverse reactions was lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P <0.05).8.After the course of treatment,follow-up of 3 months for the marked effective and cured cases, and whether there was recurrence was counted. The recurrence rate of the treatment group was 13.64%,and that of the control group was 47.62%.The treatment group was significantly lower than the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion: Both the supplemented Chaihu Guizhi Decoction and Diloratadine Citrate Tablets are effective in treating chronic urticaria, but the former is better in reducing the recurrence rate and adverse reactions. |
