Effect Of Baduanjin On Depression In Patients With Maintenance Hemodialysis

Purpose: The effect of baduanjin on depression in maintenance hemodialysis patients was summarized by clinical observation and experimental data.Method:A total of 120 patients with maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)and depression were randomly divided into blank group,control group and treatment group.The blank group was given basic treatment.The control group was given fluoxetine hydrochloride capsule20mg/d on the basis of basic treatment.On the basis of the control group,the treatment group was given qigong and baduanjin exercise for 12 weeks.The response rate and score of Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)were observed before and after treatment,and the contents of serum serotonin(5-HT)and norepinephrine(NE)were observed.Result:1.Basic information: a total of 120 patients were enrolled,with 40 in each group.In the blank group,1 patient was removed due to the transfer of the patient to another hospital for hemodialysis treatment.Control group did not follow the course of oral drugs,fell off 2 cases;In the treatment group,2 cases were lost due to no more than 7 times of practicing baduanjin.A total of 115 patients completed the full course of treatment.2.Comparison of improvement of depression status: after treatment,the effective rate of blank group was 2.56%,that of control group was 84.21%,and that of treatment group was97.37%.Comparison between treatment groups: Compared with the blank group,P < 0.05,indicating that baduanjin combined with drugs can improve the depression status of MHD patients.The comparison between the control group and the blank group showed that P < 0.05,indicating that the drug could improve the depression status of MHD patients.Compared with the control group,P < 0.05,indicating that baduanjin combined with drugs and drugs can improve the depression status of MHD patients,but improving the effect of baduanjin is better.3.HAMD score comparison: intra-group comparison after treatment: P > 0.05 before and after treatment was not statistically significant in the blank group.In the treatment group,the score before treatment was 20.03±1.91,and the score after treatment was reduced to 8.37±2.89.Comparison before and after treatment showed P < 0.05,indicating that baduanjin combined with drugs could reduce the HAMD score of MHD patients.In the control group,the score before treatment was 20.37±2.14,and the score after treatment was reduced to12.13±3.43.P < 0.05 was compared before and after treatment,indicating that the drug could reduce the HAMD score of MHD patients.Comparison between treatment groups:treatment group and control group were compared with blank group respectively(P < 0.05).Compared with the control group,P=0.000 < 0.05,indicating that both drugs and baduanjin combined with drugs could reduce the HAMD score of MHD patients,but the effect of enhancing baduanjin was more significant.4.Comparison of serum 5-HTand NE content: intra-group comparison after treatment:P > 0.05 before and after treatment was not statistically significant in the blank group.In the treatment group,P < 0.05 was compared before and after treatment,and the serum levels of5-HT and NE were significantly increased,indicating that baduanjin combined with drugs could improve the serum levels of 5-HT and NE in MHD patients.In the control group,P <0.05 was compared before and after treatment,and the serum 5-HT and NE levels were significantly increased,indicating that the drug could improve the serum 5-HT and NE levels in MHD patients.Comparison between treatment groups: treatment group and control group were compared with blank group respectively(P < 0.05).Compared with the control group,P=0.000 < 0.05,indicating that both drugs and baduanjin combined with drugs can improve the serum 5-HT and NE levels of MHD patients,but the effect of enhancing baduanjin is more significant.Conclusion: Baduanjin can significantly improve the state of depression in patients with maintenance hemodialysis,and can significantly increase the serum levels of 5-HT and NE in MHD patients.It is effective,safe and economical in clinical treatment,which is worthy of further research and promotion by clinical workers.
