ObjectiveThe Purpose of this study was to evaluate the predictive value of sST-2 levels on left ventricular function impairment by detecting the levels of soluble carcinogenic inhibitory factor 2(sST-2)and cardiac function indexes after breast cancer patients received adriamycin chemotherapy.MethodsFrom September 2016 to June 2018,90 patients who underwent adriamycin(pirubicin)chemotherapy in the Department of Breast Surgery of the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were collected. All patients received peripheral venous blood samples to measure sST-2 levels before chemotherapy and one year after receiving anthracycline chemotherapy drugs, and echocardiographic examination of cardiac function indicators.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS22.0 software. The non-parametric K-S test was used to evaluate the normal distribution. The measurement data in this study conformed to the normal distribution, expressed as mean±standard deviation(x±s).The statistical method used paired t test, and the correlation test used Pearson correlation analysis. The patient’s LVEF value reflects left ventricular function(reference range of LVEF:55%to 80%).The receiver operating curve(ROC curve)was used to evaluate the predictive effect of sST-2 on left ventricular function.Inspection level α=0.05Result1、Compared with before chemotherapy,sST-2 index, left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV),left ventricular end diastolic volume(LVEDV),left ventricular systolic diameter(LVESD)at 1 year after chemotherapy),Left ventricular diastolic internal diameter(LVEDD)and early mitral valve diastolic Peak blood flow velocity ratio and early mitral annular diastolic peak motion velocity ratio(E/e’)increased,LVEF value decreased, the differences are statistical Significance(P<0.05).2.There was a negative correlation between sST-2 levels and LVEF values(r=-0.618,P<0.05).3.The results of the receiver operating characteristic curve showed that the optimal cut-off value was at the sST-2 level of 11.9ng/ml.The sensitivity and specificity of predicting left ventricular dysfunction were 90.6%and 69.2%,respectively.The area is 0.836.Conclusion1.The changes of ST-2 levels are related to the cardiac function impairment of breast cancer Patients after receiving anthracycline chemotherapy.2.sST-2 has certain auxiliary diagnostic value for Predicting cardiac function and structural changes of breast cancer patients receiving adriamycin chemotherapy.
