The Clinical Effect Of Qiju Dihuang Pill On Dry Eyes With Deficiency Of Liver And Kidney Yin

Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of QijuDihuang Pill in the treatment of liver and kidney yin deficiency dry eye by observing the changes of ocular surface disease index(OSDI),cornea fluorescein staining(FL)score,break-up time(BUT)andSchirmer Ⅰ test(SIT),To provide some ideas for the better application of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of dry eyes with deficiency of liver and kidney yin.Methods:A total of 131 cases(262 eyes)of dry eye patients with deficiency of liver and kidney Yin were collected from the ophthalmic clinic of Jiangsu Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2018 to November 2019.The patients were randomly divided into the observation group(78 cases 156 eyes)and the control group(53 cases 106 eyes).The control group was treated with 0.1%dextran hydroxypropylmethylcellulose(Beiran)eye drops,and the observation group was treated with Qiju Dihuang Pill on the basis of the control group.One course of treatment was 14 days,and two courses of treatment were observed.Before and after treatment,OSDI score,FL score,BUT,SIT and other symptoms and signs of the two groups were observed and recorded,and spss20.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data collected.Results:(1)There were statistically significant differences in OSDI score,FL score,BUT and SIT between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of the observation group was better than that of the control group after treatment(P<0.05).(2)The total effective rate was 86.84%in the observation group and 68.00%in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group.(3)There were no local or systemic adverse reactions to the drugs used in the two groups during the trial,indicating that the two treatment methods had better safety.Conclusion:QijuDihuang pill can obviously improve the tear film stability of liver and kidney yin deficiency dry eye patients,promote the basic tear secretion,reduce the dry eye symptoms of patients,and has a definite effect.
