Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer on application of NOSES,and to explore the feasibility and safety of NOSES,Furthermore, whether it can be in popularized for eligible patients. Methods In accordance with the NOSES inclusion standard, data of 25 cases of laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer by NOSES admitted to Yijishan Hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were set as the observation group, and data of 30 cases of laparoscopic assisted radical resection of rectal cancer were set as the control group. The differences of intraoperative blood loss, operative time and anal exhaust time were compared between the two groups. Results In both groups, none of operations were transitioned to laparotomy and all of operations were successfully completed. After the operation, there was no non-anastomotic fistula infection in the two groups. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in intraoperative blood loss, operation time, postoperative complications, postoperative pathological margins, number of lymph node dissection and recurrence rate(P>0.05).However,postoperative pain score and postoperative ventilation time in the NOSES group were better than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.001).Conclusions Total laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer by NOSES is safe and feasible,it can avoid the addition of small abdominal incision to take specimens, which has the characteristics of small trauma, quick recovery, light postoperative pain and early anal exhaust.Eligible patients are feasible and worthy of promotion and application.
