| In recent years, with the cost saving, size reduction and computing performance improvement of monitoring equipment based on sensors, the wearable electronic equipment is gradually applied in the field of human health care, especially in getting human posture data in high efficiency. As one of the important visual information from human bodies, the movement states of human beings can be known from the body posture by analyzing and evaluating of the sampling data.Stepping into the mobile Internet era, using mobile phones to monitor electronic equipment is increasingly favored by users. The wearable device combining with smart phone can improve maneuverability and reduce cost.In this thesis,a multi-sensor wearable monitoring system based on Android is designed. The wearable electronic equipment combines with the mobile intelligent control platform, which aims to give a solution to the human body posture monitoring. This system uses the open resource hardware Adafruit-Flora as the control core of the acquisition terminal to collect posture data in a portable style.Android phone is served as the user terminal to store and display the real-time sampling data. Two terminals communicate with each other via the low-power Bluetooth technology, which can reduce energy consumption during data transmission.Considering the limited battery power and data processing capabilities of mobile phone,a TempOral Correlation based on Adaptive Sampling algorithm(TOCAS)is proposed. The sampling frequency is adjusted adaptively according to the features of the targets being monitored. With this algorithm, the volume of sampling data can be reduced.Hence, the cost for data transmission and the calculation can also be saved while the accuracy of monitoring result can still be guaranteed. This system has the advantages of light-weight,portability,simple control and long battery life. The simulation results and system testing show that the system can satisfy the design requirements in human body posture monitoring. The system can be widely used in many fields, such as rehabilitation for disabled patients, health care for aged people, scientific training for athletes and so on. |
