Note Flap And Its Clinical Application In Facial Small And Medium Skin Defect Repair

BackgroundsFace is the most common area of skin tumor,and surgical resection is the first choice.However,the local tissue defect caused by surgery will seriously affect the beauty of the face of patients,so the repair of the defect is also one of the key points in the surgical treatment of facial tumors.Proper repair method not only requires complete and thorough resection of tumor tissue to avoid recurrence,but also requires the maximum functional recovery of the wound after resection of tumor tissue when closing the defect after operation.Adjacent flaps should be used as far as possible to restore the appearance and function of the face.ObjectiveTo explore the clinical application of note flap in the repair of facial small and medium skin defect.MethodsFrom September 2017 to December 2019,31 patients with facial skin tumors or facial defects were collected in this research.Patients were treated with conventional tumor resection and note flap repair,and postoperative effects and scar recovery were summarized and analyzed.Furthermore,31 patients who had undergone facial Limberg flaps were collected as the control group,and scar recovery was compared between the note flap group and Limberg flap group.ResultsIn this study,31 patients were included.All the flaps survived in 1 stage operation,and the skin flap was smooth,without any subcutaneous hematoma or infection,and no obvious displacement or deformity occurred in the surrounding organs.Among them,2 patients had slight deformation of the eye.After 1 year follow-up,the deformation gradually improved,and the base of both eyes was symmetrical.In addition,we compared the note flap with Limberg flap.The results of postoperative scar evaluation showed that p<0.05 between the two groups,including the scar color,the flatness score,the elasticity score,and the width score.ConclusionsThe clinical application of note flap in the repair of facial small and medium-sized skin defects has the advantages of flexible design,simple operation,small trauma,reliable blood supply of flap,good aesthetic appearance and good effect.Note flap is an ideal repair method of facial skin defects,which is suitable for clinical application and promotion.
