Recent Clinical Effect Of Proximal Femoral Reconstruction In Hip Revision

Objective To explore the feasibility of the application of proximal femoral reconstruction technology in hip revision,intraoperative and postoperative complications and early clinical efficacy.Method A retrospective analysis of 22 cases(23 hip)who underwent hip revision surgery that used proximal femoral reconstruction technique during the operation in our hospital from January 2015 to November 2018,1 of whom had bilateral femoral hip revision surgery using femurs Proximal reconstruction techniques.Patients before surgery had pain and prosthesis instability,which accorded with the indications of hip revision.This research evaluated operation time,postoperative complications,postoperative hip function,imaging and clinical results.Result As of the latest follow-up,the average follow-up time was(29.1 ± 14.2)months(12 to 57 months).All patients had significant improvement in hip function and pain after operation.All surgical incisions healed in first stage,3 cases of osteotomy line did not heal,and 1 case had hip dislocation due to excessive postoperative exercise.Pay attention to early activities and follow-up without dislocation.The preoperative VAS pain score was(6.52 ± 1.08)points,and the last follow-up VAS pain score was(1.52 ± 0.59)points,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);the preoperative Harris score was(38.81 ± 13.57)points,the last The Harris score improved to(83.26 ± 5.13)points during follow-up,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion The application of proximal femoral reconstruction technology in hip revision can solve many problems encountered in femoral revision,effectively alleviate hip pain,improve hip function,ensure the stability of hip joint prosthesis after operation.The operation time is shorter and the intraoperative,postoperative complications are less.
