Clinical Observation Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Fumigation Combined With Conventional Acupuncture In The Recovery Of Peripheral Facial Paralysis

Objective:Observe the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with conventional acupuncture on peripheral facial paralysis.Explore better options for the treatment of peripheral facial nerve paralysis.Method:Sixty patients with peripheral facial nerve palsy meeting the inclusion criteria were divided into RCT groups and divided into acupuncture group and acupuncture fumigation combined group.Thirty patients in the acupuncture group were treated with conventional acupuncture,once a day,7days as a course of treatment（6 days of treatment,1 day of needle suspension）,and 3 consecutive courses of treatment.30 patients in the acupuncture fumigation group were treated with conventional acupuncture and traditional Chinese fumigation.The acupuncture treatment method was the same as the acupuncture group.20 minutes after acupuncture,sterile gauze soaked with Chinese fumigation（preferably not dripping liquid）,apply it to the affected area,and irradiate it with Zhongzhi Bio-lamp（TDP）for20-25min.If the gauze is dry during the irradiation,you can replace the sterile gauze soaked in traditional Chinese medicine.Once a day,7 days is a course of treatment（6 days of treatment,1 day of needle suspension）,3consecutive courses of treatment.After each course of treatment,according to the"Clinical Evaluation of Peripheral Facial Paralysis and Curative Effect Evaluation Standard Scheme（Draft）"^[1],the therapeutic effect was evaluated and the differences were compared;record the treatment days of the two groups of cured patients,compare the treatment course of the patients,and analyze the statistical results.Results:1.In comparing the sex,age,and symptom scores before treatment between the acupuncture group and the acupuncture smoker group,the sex（P>0.05）,age（P>0.05）,and symptom scores before treatment（P>0.05）,The difference was not statistically significant,and there was comparability.2.Comparison of the scores of the nerves before and after treatment in the two groups.The acupuncture group（P<0.00）and the acupuncture fumigation group（P<0.00）have significant statistical differences.Both treatment methods are effective for peripheral facial paralysis.The facial nerve scores of the two groups of patients in each course of treatment were compared,1 course（P>0.05）,indicating that the acupuncture group was compared with the acupuncture fumigation group.There was no significant statistical difference in nerve score after 1 course of treatment（7 days）,and the treatment results were similar;2 treatment courses（P<0.01）and 3treatment courses（P<0.01）,indicating that the acupuncture group compared with the acupuncture fumigation group.There were significant differences in nerve scores after 2 treatment courses（14 days）and 3 treatment courses（21days）,The acupuncture fumigation group is better than the acupuncture group.3.Comparing the treatment courses of the patients in the acupuncture group and the acupuncture fumigation group（P<0.05）,proving that there is a significant difference in the treatment courses of the acupuncture group and the acupuncture fumigation group,and the treatment time of the acupuncture smoke group is longer The acupuncture group is short,and the acupuncture fumigation group can significantly shorten the healing time.4.It can be seen from the symptom scores before and after 3 courses of treatment（21 days）that the healing efficiency of the traditional Chinese medicine fumigation group is 93.33%while the acupuncture group is 83.33%.The difference is statistically significant（P<0.05）.It shows that the clinical effect of the Chinese traditional medicine fumigation group is obviously better than the acupuncture group.5.In the two groups of patients,no adverse reactions occurred during the treatment process,the vital signs were stable,the patient’s compliance during the treatment was good,and no medical disputes or medical accidents occurred during the period.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and conventional acupuncture have therapeutic effects on the recovery of peripheral facial paralysis,and acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation is better than conventional acupuncture in the recovery of peripheral facial paralysis.2.Acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation can significantly shorten the treatment time.
