Objective:The purpose of this study is to build a scientific and reasonable competency model of rural general practice assistant doctors,and refine the identification competency and benchmark competency of rural general practice doctors,in order to provide basis for the national rural general practice assistant doctors qualification examination,and provide theoretical support for the training and selection of rural general practice doctors,so as to truly meet the needs of rural medical and health services.Methods:(1)Through the literature research method to collect and sort out the competency research related to this research topic,initially establish the post competency items pool.(2)By using behavioral event interview method,18 doctors in rural areas of China were interviewed.According to the competency terms,the code analysis was carried out,and the terms were further supplemented and improved.(3)the Delphi expert consultation questionnaire was made base on the post competency terms,and 30 experts were selected nationwide to evaluate the rationality and importance of the competency terms and their connotation,so as to build the post competency index system of rural general practice assistant doctors.(4)Use analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of each item.Resulths:(1)Through the literature research method and behavioral event interview method,a preliminary pool of job competence entries for rural grassroots doctors was established,including 6 first-level items and 84 second-level items,and the second-level entries was explained.(2)8 identification competencies of rural general practitioners were extracted,including professionalism,altruism and dedication,love and compassion,house call service,establishment of good relationship,achievement orientation,specialty,and actively understand the population dynamics and health status of the community.10 benchmark competencies,including diagnosis and treatment of common diseases,and basic medical skills,learning consciousness and learning ability,Chinese medicine ability,using drug rationally,referral services,common chronic non-communicable disease management and evaluation,health care for key crowd,learning the medical system and related policies,emergency rescue ability.(3)The preliminary construction of the post-competency model ofassistant physicians in rural general practice was completed,including 6 primary indicators and 63 secondary indicators.The authority coefficient of Delphi expert was 0.93,the positive coefficient of the two rounds was 0.87,1.00,and the coordination coefficient of the two rounds was 0.312,0.241(P < 0.01).(4)The weight coefficients of each item are determined,and in order of weighting coefficient the first-level items are : basic medical and health services(0.3111),basic public health services(0.1960),medical knowledge and lifelong learning(0.1960),interpersonal communication and teamwork(0.1386),professional accomplishment(0.1028),information utilization and management ability(0.0555).Conclusion: This study constructs the post competency model of assistant general practitioner in rural general practice for the first time.The model is scientific and reliable,which can provide a basis for the national qualification examination of assistant general practitioner in rural general practice and provide theoretical support for the training and selection of rural general practitioner.
