Objective:As the "reserve" of the future medical team,medical students’ humanistic literacy level is related to the future development of the medical industry.Medical students’ humanistic quality is a multi-level and multi-angle comprehensive concept,which is mainly reflected in their future job competency.Medical students not only need to master the exquisite diagnosis and treatment technology,the external performance of humanistic quality is also indispensable.Nowadays,China’s senior medical personnel shortage,quality medical resources imbalance and doctor-patient disputes and other prominent issues.Therefore,the current society should pay great attention to the development of medical students’ humanistic quality.The author carries out a research on the humanistic literacy of medical students in anhui province,aiming to understand the current situation of the development of the humanistic literacy of medical students in anhui province,analyze the factors affecting the level of humanistic literacy of medical students in anhui province,and put forward relevant Suggestions.Methods: 1.Literature method.Before the investigation,consult relevant literature,books and policy documents to understand the basic situation of medical humanistic literacy.2.Questionnaire survey.In the design of the questionnaire,the undergraduates of four medical colleges in anhui province,namely anhui university of traditional Chinese medicine,anhui medical university,wannan medical college and bengbu medical college,were investigated by referring to relevant scholars’ studies and consulting experts.3.Data analysis.Analysis of variance,t-test,multiple linear regression analysis and other statistical methods for data analysis.Results:A total of 1,150 questionnaires were issued and 1,106 valid questionnaires were returned,with a recovery rate of 96.17%,including 575 males and 531 females.There were 270 copies from anhui medical university,233 copies from anhui university of traditional Chinese medicine,351 copies from wnan medical college and 252 copies from bengbu medical college.The results showed that gender had a statistically significant difference in humanistic literacy(P<0.05),among which women’s humanistic literacy was higher than men’s.The difference of medical students’ majors in humanistic literacy was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the humanistic literacy of clinical medical students was higher than that of basic medical students and other medical students.The recognition of the importance of medical students’ humanistic literacy was statistically significant to the score of medical students’ humanistic literacy(P<0.05),suggesting that the more important the humanistic literacy was,the higher the medical students’ humanistic literacy was.There was a statistically significant difference in medical students’ humanistic literacy between their parents’ understanding of the medical industry(P<0.05),and the medical students whose parents had a "very good understanding" of the medical industry had a higher humanistic literacy than those whose parents had "heard of some" knowledge of the medical industry.There was a statistically significant difference between medical students’ humanistic literacy and students’ humanistic literacy in their schools(P<0.05),and those who considered the humanistic literacy of medical students in their schools to be "good" were higher than those who considered the humanistic literacy of students in their schools to be "average".Teachers’ teaching methods had a statistically significant difference in humanistic literacy(P<0.05).Medical students whose teaching methods were "all good" had higher humanistic literacy than those whose teaching methods were "all bad".Conclusion:The cultivation of humanistic quality is a long and slow process,and the level of humanistic quality is affected by various factors.The results showed that gender,specialty,school,personal awareness of the importance of humanistic literacy,parents’ understanding of the medical industry,the humanistic literacy status of students in the school,and the teaching methods of teachers all had an impact on the humanistic literacy of medical undergraduates.Medical undergraduates in anhui province have improved their cognition of the concept and importance of humanistic literacy,but the motivation of medical students to improve humanistic literacy is insufficient.Most medical students lack their own unique views on humanistic literacy.Medical students need to improve their self-learning awareness and strengthen their independent learning ability to improve their personal humanistic literacy.Medical students’ families do not have a deep understanding of the medical industry,and the absence of family support hinders the improvement of medical students’ humanistic quality.Parents should strengthen their understanding of the medical industry and attach importance to the cultivation of family humanistic quality.The faculty resources of the school limit the improvement of medical students’ humanistic quality.The state and medical universities should strengthen the faculty and build an elite team of humanistic teachers.In addition,the school should organize a variety of interactions,through the campus spirit in practice to improve the overall humanistic quality of medical students.
