The Clinical Value Of Serum CA125,HE4 And ROMA In The Diagnosis Of Benign And Malignant Ovarian Tumors | | Posted on:2021-02-14 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Z Q Qian | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2404330611958807 | Subject:Obstetrics and gynecology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective: To study the clinical value of serum carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125),human epididymal secretory protein 4(HE4)and ovarian cancer risk prediction model(ROMA)in the diagnosis of benign and malignant ovarian tumors.Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 124 patients with ovarian tumor admitted from January 2018 to December 2018.After receiving surgical treatment,the patients were divided into groups according to the gold standard for pathological diagnosis of paraffin sections.Among them,47 cases were pathologically diagnosed as ovarian cancer,and 77 cases were pathologically diagnosed as benign ovarian cancer.Both CA125 and HE4 were tested using kits provided by Roche,Germany.Blood samples were tested uniformly using Roche’s fully automated electrochemical chemiluminescence immunoassay system,and the ROMA index was calculated by the analysis software of ovarian cancer risk prediction model.The serum CA125,HE4 and ROMA indexes of the two groups were compared,and the diagnostic efficacy of serum CA125,HE4 and ROMA indexes in the diagnosis of ovarian malignant tumors was compared.Then,the ROC curve was drawn and the area under the curve(AUC)was calculated.Results:(1)The serum CA125,HE4 and ROMA indexes in the ovarian cancer group were higher than those in the benign ovarian tumor group,with statistically significant differences(all p <0.001).(2)The sensitivity of ROMA index was higher than that of CA125 and HE4,and the specificity of ROMA and HE4 was significantly higher than that of CA125.(3)Both positive and negative predictive values of ROMA index were better than those of HE4 or CA125 alone(p <0.05).(4)The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)of serum CA 125,HE4 and ROMA index were 0.916,0.869 and 0.859,respectively,all with p values less than 0.05.Conclusion:The ROMA index is of higher value in differentiating benign from malignant ovarian tumors. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Serum CA125, HE4, ROMA, Ovarian tumors are benign and malignant | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
